Installed this mod using CSM. All cars are white. Checked mod options, set to extreme high graphic level. Any ideas why unable to get car liveries?by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
I agree with Jaqdpanzer. I would really like to see a 1975-1975 era F1 mod with those high air dams above the drivers heads. Thought about it, just do not have the skills or time to make car shapes.by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Some of the DTM tracks (Spa, Bruno, Zanvoort) I would like to use with some of the formula MODS and with the LPM mod. I opened the track dat files in GP4Builder, changed the number of laps to use with the LPM mod (used Bruno). Saved as a different date name. Used TSM to select the track wad and the new .dat file. In game still shows 30 laps. How do you modify the number of laps to use withby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
b-tone, ovals in US and US racing series generally run counter clockwise. Your track runs clockwise. Any thoughts about changing direction cars run so that they are going around track counter clockwise alla US oval tracks?by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
What is status of Peugeot, Nissan R92CP, Benz C9? Will they be availble seperately as alternate cars?by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Why not CSM compatable? How do we get it to work in CSM???by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Not sure if this has been posted before. Found a new track, Shortwood, a street circuit that appears to be based in Chicago, USA. Obviously, a ficticious course. Located at makephpbb.com.by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
64 Saturday April 7, going on 65, USA F1 Fan. Beat that guys. Looks like I am the oldest so far.by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Just downloaded this track. Been waiting for this one for a long time. Cannot say enought, fabulous track. Everyone using the 79 mod and 80"s mods will want this one.by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Solved the issue. After uninstalling and reinstalling, I was loading the nocd patch on top of a decrypted GP3.exe file that appears to have the nocd patch. Once figured out I did not have to patch with the nocd patch, all works fine after going back to IE ver 6.by Richard J - Grand Prix 3
I had GP3 working OK before under XP Home version. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled numerous times. I installed the decrypted GP3.exe file I have used in the past. I then installed the NoCD patch, which indicated it needed the decrypted GP3.EXE version of specific size, that is the size I had, the nocd indicates loads OK, and get message Happy Racing. If I make no other changes,by Richard J - Grand Prix 3
For some reason, I can no longer run GP3. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game numerous times. After installing, I have used Hasbro's 1.13 update. I then followed that with the decryped GP3 exe. I then followed that with the noCD patch. I have tried almost every version of GPxPatch. Now using version 3.91 for GP3 version 1.13. I select the Start button, looks like GP3 is loadinby Richard J - Grand Prix 3
Lo2K, thanks for the input. Looks like trial and error. Some of the curve sections have different angle and arcs through out the curve, like for 3 or 4 sections. I may not have changed those as I created the curve sections. Will have to go back and start with the curve where some sections change angle/arc and work back to end of track as you suggested. Being able to remove a section or partby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
I decided to try my hand at track editing. I am just begining to learn to use GP4 Builder 1.02. I decided to make Mosport as my first attempt. I got the track sections in, using much of the GP3 track data. When I entered the final track section, it overlaps the starting section slightly. The major problem is it is offset to the left about half the track width. How do I get it to line upby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Cannot download. GP4Italia site is closed, down, or what ever. Looks like they are underconstruction until some time next week remaking site.by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
jacaranti, can you send me your track files?by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Anyone else having problems with the entrence to the pit lane? I ran some races with all cars computer controlled. When cars are called into the pits, havoc takes place. The cc cars are not slowing down for the pit entrence. The cars are traveling along, suddenly veres to the right, seem to hit something that makes them airborne, or they crash into an invisible fence. After 10-12 laps on a fby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
I have been trying to get registered on this site now for the past 2 weeks with no success. No e-mail giving me the information needed to log onto the site. Can someone send me the track files?by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Ralv585, used the Google translation page as you suggested. Helped quite a bit. I tried to register earlier in the week, never got the e-mail indicting the page to go to to activate the account so I can log-in. Tried again to set up an account, unable to know if account set up. Will have to wait to see if I get the e-mail. Sure would be helpful if someone would send me the track file.by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
I have had nothing but trouble trying to log onto the site to down load this track and other items. Do not speak portuagese/spanish, so have to guess how to register. Tried that yesterday, still will not let me login. They want more people to visit, but how can you if you cannot register correctly and log in. Frustrating. Any one know how to register so you can login?by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Tubo Lover, I used the 1979 mod with the track, pitstops worked fine. I will have to test other mods and carsets I have. I was using a carset based off the 1967 mod that I made and it has the problem. As I check other mods and carsets I will find out of others have same problem. Then issue will be how to fix it. Keep you posted. Bug notes on track. Had a reace start out in wet conditions,by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Turbo Lover, now with the graphics, really dresses up track, very realistic for time period. Love it. Still having problem with cc-controlled cars going into pits and getting stuck there. Looks like car is lifted up for new tires, but then nothing happens except the tires slowly rotate (spin). Pit crews rush to car and then just stand there. Followed Erix suggestion, GPxPatch has box nextby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Erix, yes, I have the box checked next to Fix Pitstop bug.by Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Prblanco, finally got your CC-line to work. Seems could not save it as same name as original .dat file for some reason. I ran a race, I did not control any of the cars. All were computer controlled. Got to the point of the first needed pit stop for fuel, tires, etc. Every car that went into the pits got stuck in the pits. No fuel added or tires changed. Any ideas what is causing this pby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Downloaded PrBlanco's cc-line. All CC cars on first turn do not slow down, go straight off track into amco barrier. If they do not suffer sufficient damage (wheels come off from hitting armco barrier), they continue onto the next left/right combination, on the right hand curve, they run straight off the road again into the armco barrier. If they survive, they complete a lap of which restby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
b-tone, what appears to have taken place, is the data in the TEAM 11 folder was placed in the GPxPatch folder. It listed all the performance files in the TEAM 11 folder. When I removed them, most of the mods that did not contain correct driver/team information once in the game and in cockpit or cam view are now correct. Still working to fix a couple of sets that do not load any driver/team infby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
b-tone, solved most of the problems. I checked the GP4 folder, and I found list of performance.txt files that apparently the 2005 Mod Final release left in the GP4 folder. I moved them to another folder, and most of the mods are working properly with the correct team names/car names/drivers names. Apparently it was leaving these files (track specific) in the GP4 directory and for some reason sby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
b-tone. Auto restore is checked "on". Also CPU in Gp4xpatch is 0. Uninstalled game many times, reinstalled. During installation, answered yes to remove saved games. Used ZAZ steps to get the clean exe and car wad located in the DDL folder of CSM. Ran the PatchDownloades.exe to install clean 9.6 patch and decryped exe. Many mods that worked prior to installing the 2005FinalModby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Not sure if this belongs under this mod or the CSM forum. Someone else has raised the question of CSM not properly restoring the game to 2001 files. Since getting the latest update of CSM, adding some new tracks with TSM, and loading this Mod, I now have many carsets and mods that do not work properly. The primary problem is after loading a season set or a previously working mod, I get the corby Richard J - Grand Prix 4
Prior to the three following recent downloads, (2005FinalUpdate; three 1991 new tracks, and update to CSM/TSM in past two days) I now cannot get Tony's 1967 carset to run properly. It either crashes when tracks are loaded, or if loades, the game loads the drivers names correctly to be selected in drivers screen, but in the game the drivers names and cars are for the 2005FinalUpdate.
