Hello Chunter Matt probably solved your problems. Anyway, I answered also to You on Forum of Bojan and Maxdownforce: although I still had no time to accurately translate in english my tutorial, i think it's useful since there are a lot a pictures, and also who doesn't know italian, or is not an expert on ZModeler, can probably use it to understand a lot of things. Furthermore, if someonby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
But with advanced carshader enabled You will get less fps...less performances with PC...isn't it? Well..honestly, I think that these last updates ( "heavy" textures, "heavy" carshapes....new requests for graphic cards by these rims..etc ) are fitting properly only for people with a powerful PC. How many people have more than 1,5 Gz on their Pcs?by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
I have no these rims....What is written, on Read_me? Supergogeta....ovvero Burt Simpson? Indovinato?by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Why rims remain static..while are moving only Michelin, or Bridgestone logos on wheels? I don't think this effect is realistic...or, not?by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Hi Laurent I said You some weeks ago that you made some of the most useful tools for GP4...I reinforce this my opinion every day, seeing your new editors. The great work that Madman made with Tweaker, and your last cam editor now let us to modify many things, improving GP4. my question is this: is this possible, with Madman, to compile directly in your cam editor the helmet-steer-arms position edby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
I don't know about this new version of Ferrari. But, since I downloaded until now almost all the great carshapes of CTDP and Viper, and since I made for GP4 some other carshapes, I would say this is a bug of basic Ferrari, since is shifted from F1 2002 ( and then updated to 2003 ) by Authors...and all F1 2002 derived cashapes ( Ferrari 2002, Renault 2002, Williams.....etc. ) have bugs regardby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Nice job, Laurent With this Your last work, togheter with the new Tweaker ( helmet, arms and wheel position editor...), GP4 can get a real , good 2003 carset.by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Hi BHP values can be different modifying magic data ( for example: in some tracks, at ace level, there is 100% power, in some other not .) Have You custom magic data in tracks? Maybe You set higher bhp value than 100% ? Have set Gpxpatch to "team dependant" for car power? And, what kind of Physic file are You using? If You have a value in the physic file, human player will get that valuby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Beside the fact that mechanic looks like Popeye, and his legs are X shaped ( Crammond: do You know a little bit of anatomy ? ), Bojan made an excellent work. I encourage him to finish all teams with his work.by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
The problem of helmet ( and arms ..) position is that of all new carset with new carshapes on old ( 2001 ) slots. To fix this problem, new carshapes should be remodelled, or adapted for the driver position. Otherwise, graphic results will remain poor...with some cars having driver to low and front, other cars having drivers in...airscoop. I hope Lok2 will make a new tool for the position of helmby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
OK..I agree with Andy and Bojan regarding the fact that Authors of this carset had had to ask permission before publishing any file..That's sure. iI also agree with Andy and Bojan about the time one can spend preparing a file..and therefore about the desire to see his file in a good carset. But, please..Try to understand the philosophy of these carsets...And remember what I said: my 2002 carby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Honestly, I don't understand people saying..." this MY file...You can't put it in a carset..". If this file has been previously published ( and therefore all people know it ) why one can't put it in a carset, where it could be more evaluated ? Furthermore, I think the Authors of this carset ( that I DON't KNOW ) have no written in their Read_me text...."this Feby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Hi I understand every people is trying to personalize his game, and I encourage every attempting to improve some file that is just prepared. But I want clarify some things: my performances are realistic also in gap distances in qualify. I calculated , for every race, with realistic data these gaps ( Remember that You should use percentage gap, and not time gap...).Remeber that, although You putby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Are You making FANTASY 2002 performances, or REALISTIC? Realistic are just prepared....And You find them on this site. Why are wasting your time?by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Why don't You use my specific or generic 2002 performances with magic files, physic file, perf texts and Gpxpatch? You find them on this siteby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Yes, if You like 2 different shapes for a team, You can have. But You must have right textures for both cars, and all the definition levels for each cars for a realistic appearance of 2 model s in a team.by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
You can edit an important part of human and CPu performances through the magic files. Of course, You should integrate, or optimize magic with right perf text files, and physic file. GPxpatch is needed. But You can get realistic performances pack that I made for GP4 ( v.1,00 and 1,02 ), and, if You want, can modify for your preferred use. I don't suggest this, since performances are specificby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
You can solve the problem with low definition levels of carshapes renaming ....lod_2.gp4 files also in lod_3 and 4.gp4 files. Regarding the hi or low definition textures, well...they don't enter in this problem. You can use 16 or 32 bit graphic mode ( low or hi ), using the same carshapes.by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
No My first carshape ( Jordan ) had some limits, and also in my opinion there are better carshapes than it. I was meanining about Minardi and Bar 2002 carshapes, made by me and Schroeder. In my opinion, they are the most detailed carshapes for these 2002 models...but they are not GREAT on this web. But the real problem, as I said, is how to call GREAT a file. In my opinion ( repeat, my...) this sby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Yes, Zachary made a good work....and I said him. The problem, anyway, is not why my ( and Schroeder's ) files are not pointed as great....I should like in which way the files are considered so. Since there are no previews, unfortunally, Great or not great definition is important. Therefore: I should suggest to point as Great only files that are downloade in a such number, and not automaticalby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
with which files can be considered GREAT? In my opinion, Minardi and Bar 2002 carshapes are GREAT ( they are the most realist carshapes available; are mapped with great textures; have damage model...). Since we cannot see the preview of them when downloading, the only parameter is the great definition. Therefore: probably they are not great files for webmasters... I should like to have the opiniby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
