Hiya, yeah, sorry for the lack of shots! Will get something out over the weekend for you to see. Hope to have it finished by the Nurburgring GP, the first release should have the first three GP's shapes included. As for polys, let the figures do the talking :- the FW27 cockpit shape and front wing was 17,384 polys (excessive, I know!). the FW28 cockpit shape and front wing is arounby intweb - Grand Prix 4
Hello, Right, the shape is done, just finishing the front wing/rear wing and suspension. All else is fairly complete. Will post some shots in the next few days, for interest. All that I will say, is that I've managed to create what I consider to be good detail using far fewer polys than the FW27. All comments have been taken into consideration and hopefully most people will be faby intweb - Grand Prix 4

I saw a later version at Silverstone in 1994. An amazing site hearing the car approaching towards bridge, then as it came in to view it was a people carrier!! Amazing! Hugged the track incredibly with no lean at all!by intweb - F1
What you want my friend? Tell me what you want and I'll see if I can 'make it so'........by intweb - Grand Prix 4
He probably won't reply though, he's a moody bugger! I never get a reply from him. Yes you do.... No you don't....by intweb - Grand Prix 4
No screenshots posted yet, as I feel there would be more discussion about unecessary elements at the moment, that are to be finished. Once I have something to show, that will give an indication of the car, I'll post some. Expect some shots soon, before I map. I posted this, to give an indication of what's going on, I never said there would be a stream of WIP shots available. Baby intweb - Grand Prix 4
The shape basic shape is done, am just (at this second) sorting out the aero parts on the sidepod (Exhausts, etc.). So it's very much on the road to completion. I've also tried to reduce poly-count, but still keep the hi-quality shape / detail. Hopefully this will make the car more accessible to users. That's why I haven't released it yet, because I have to shape, then refiby intweb - Grand Prix 4
@ JPMFW, thanks mate (nothing to show yet mate, but soon, oh yes, soon!). @ JPM2002, as long as you don't distribute around, you've made a good nose. @ Everyone else (who is interested), shape basic shape is done, am just (at this second) sorting out the aero parts on the sidepod (Exhausts, etc.). Am trying to get to grips with the FANTASTIC new Turkey track. Unfortunately, I am rubbish at it - struggling to get anywhere near the 1:22 set by the CC cars. Can anyone post (or mail: intweb@gmail.com) me their setup please? Thanks.by intweb - Grand Prix 4
Hi, Have been busy over the last few weeks, so haven't posted a lot of info, but here's an update. Having gone back to scratch 4 times now, am finally happy with the general shape. Have nearly finished the basic shape and will then sort out the suspension, wings, etc. Should have something to see in the next week. On a realease date, there isn't one at the moment. But the fiby intweb - Grand Prix 4

My FW27 with 06 scheme is in the public domain so no worries from me!by intweb - Grand Prix 4
He hasn't got my FW28, it's not even finished yet! He has, however, used my FW27 in 06 colours, without permission. Ar5e!by intweb - Grand Prix 4
FW28 yes, R26 on hold at the moment. Need to get some good shots from Bahrain / Sepang to finalise shape.by intweb - Grand Prix 4

Markko, don't make me put the drugs in your burger again, you will fly........ :pby intweb - Grand Prix 4
@ E_Shumi, REALLY, REALLY glad you took the constructive criticism in good faith (as it was meant). The front wing is a great improvement, but you need to rationalise the number of polys you are using. For once, the phrase 'less is more', really is relevant! @pippo10, INTWEB, INTWEB - Not INTHEWEB, Geeez!by intweb - Grand Prix 4
@ Prunn, The renault 'magny cours' shot. Do you realise that's a Renault R25, with the R26 intake pasted over it? Good job though!by intweb - Grand Prix 4
I've paid and subscribed and it's well worth the cost. If you work out the figures it works out at around .005pence per pit-girl photo!by intweb - Grand Prix 4

*tumbleweed rolls across screen* Nice render e_shumi, little bit of work required on the model, but you did a fantastic job. Keep it up.by intweb - Grand Prix 4

Imra, you totally proved my post right. By posting back so quickly and completely 'off the mark' you have just proved what I was talking about. Out of interest, how long have you been posting to this forum? (would be interested to know).
