great to see any progress on gp4 tweaker after all this years.... all internal steering-wheel things are inside the cockpit subfolder of cars.wad : cockpit_wheel.gp4 as shape; steering_wheel_centre.tex and steering_wheel_ends.tex as textures. it would be nice to be able to get team-specific textures for the steering-wheel. but in my opinion change of the steering-wheel-shape is not essenby schroeder - Grand Prix 4

there had been at least two mods released with this 3d arms. the gp4amers.nl mod and a gp4 italia mod. but it looks only realistic up to certain point, cause they are attached as helmet. helmet itself is static. so it looks not to real. it also costs some po, 22 3d arms have to be rendered. i also had me try with 3d arms in cockpit view (attached to steering wheel) does not look realistic at allby schroeder - Grand Prix 4

thats true... remember there are a lot of buildings/houses/objects. and we try do do it as real as possible, that means we have up to 95% matching textures for the buildings and they sit on their right place on the streets of valencia. even the trees,marshals,tents, etc. it´s a time consuming hobby.... mattby schroeder - Grand Prix 4

hmmn, good question. performance files for gp4 have to be edited at three points: physics-file, performance-file and magic-data. so it can eg. happen if the cc-perf factors in magic-data is wrong it will be too easy, or the other way round. or if grip level in performance-file is wrong it can be too easy or hard. same with physics file. if e.g. cc-power is lower than players power (and uncheckby schroeder - Grand Prix 4
