Having just bought GTR Evolution, I decided I wanted to upgrade from my old wheel to a Driving Force GT. As I'm off to uni on sunday, I was going to wait and buy it when I return at christmas. However many places, Amazon and Play included are out of stock, although it is still possible to buy from other stores. Does anoyone know if this means that Logitech have stopped making it? On the strategy issue, after Piquets podium I read an interview with Pat Symons in which he said that if they qualify badly they dont put their drivers on a standard strategy cos there would be no point in making up a couple of places. Hence put the drivers on a different strategy, safety car comes out and gives Piquet a podium in germany and Alonso a win in singapore.by SexySam182 - F1
Well reading the radio transmissions, it seems Flavio had no idea about any deliberate crash. So does that leave it between Symonds and Piquet? But reading the transmissions it does seem a little jumbled about Alonsos strategy after Piquet crashed. Surely if you knew what was going to happen you would know where your other driver was going to be?by SexySam182 - F1

Its coming down to two things for me, one is what did Alonso have to gain by winning the race anyway? Not a championship contender, nothing to prove etc. The is unless Alonso knew of the plan, why would he let the team give him only 12 laps of fuel? The only other thing is he may not have had a choice, if the Renault team gave him 12 laps of fuel then what could he have done about it anywayby SexySam182 - F1

From the Red Bull magazine I got given at X-Fighters last night: Interviewer: Do you play as you in F1 video games? Webber: No, mate. They're rubbish. They dont bear any relationship to the real thing.by SexySam182 - F1

This is absolutely ludicrous, but unsuprising considering recent events. I am just annoyed that in the statement they make it out to be negligence on Renaults part. I however do not think this penalty will actuallly happen, I do think on appeal it will be massively reduced, probably to a fine of some sort.by SexySam182 - F1
TBH I think thats the same piece of debris. Anyway good luck Felipe with a speedy recovery. And brilliant pole by Alonso, definately light. But this is shaping up to be a great race tomorrow.by SexySam182 - F1
'Ferrari to confirm Alonso at Monza' Tuesday 30th June 2009 Ferrari will reportedly confirm the signing of Fernando Alonso at their home race, the Italian Grand Prix. Rumours of his pending move to Ferrari have dogged Alonso for the past three years, however, instead of joining the Italian marque he spent the 2007 season at McLaren before returning to Renault. Well when you think about it a series run by the teams makes perfect sense. By cutting out the middle man (Bernie), the teams themselves will recieve all the money from TV deals, meaning they will make a profit, and then wont charge the circuits exorbitant fees to host the race (welcome back Silverstone, Montreal). New teams will be able to enter because the FOTA series would actually be a viaby SexySam182 - F1

The 'cant save file' thing happened before, so I reinstalled it but the problem persists. When it asks to run the graphics calibration now, I just say no, and it has already saved my graphics settings so I have no problem for the moment. The tire problems also seem to have stopped without me doing anything.by SexySam182 - Grand Prix 3
Everytime I enter GP3 the game asks me to calibrate the graphics, and when it is finished it says 'cannot save file'. I have done what it says in the FAQ to try and stop the game from wantingto run the calibration, but it doesnt work. Also when in the onboard views, the tires show the colours of the car, for instance the Brawn tires are white, with black and yellow flashes as it rotaby SexySam182 - Grand Prix 3
