The track update is fantastic and the pit garages are in the correct order but they still have the 2002 sponsors on the garage wall. Is this correct? Example: The Jordan garage still still DHL Jordan Hondaby Buzz Hornet - Grand Prix 4
I have the same problem...I would love to know the fix. The read me says it is a wad file. I don't think it isby Buzz Hornet - Grand Prix 4
LarryM Yes I would also copy the other .tex helmet files across, it certainly won't do any harm at all. Cheersby Buzz Hornet - Grand Prix 4
LarryM Sorry yes you will need to go every track.wad - it really is the only permanent fix. I will another look later on, but I had this problem and resolved it this way. I hope to dedicate all my spare time into looking at GP4's track model in the coming weeks. Certainly not promising anything but I will try because like you I want to drive Hockenheim 03 on the right layout. Cheersby Buzz Hornet - Grand Prix 4
LarryM As promised the fix for Yoong / Webber You will notice in your GP4 directory a folder called "cars". Look inside and you will find the file that GP4 reads as driver21_1.tex and driver 22_2.tex. All you need to do is simply past the actual Webber helmet (compressed from the actual cars.wad or just a downloaded Webber helmet from the net) and bingo. No need to compress using GPby Buzz Hornet - Grand Prix 4
LarryM I have a fix which is going to make you very happy, I will post the exact fix when I get home from work. I will explain the problem however as I have been through this Yoong / Webber thing myself. It has to do with the Patch, it has for some reason reading Webber's helmet from a seperate directory than that of the main car.wad. It picks up all the other helmets fine as you may knowby Buzz Hornet - Grand Prix 4
Averyfan, I have my own wad file, however I want that Toyota it looks a lot better than the one I have. Can you simply post the name of the files used so that I can just update my wad. Cheersby Buzz Hornet - Grand Prix 4
Hi guys, There is a good forum post at Emac's website to hopefully help convince Ralph and Emac to continue with GP3-2000 season set update for the 2003 season. (www.emacf1.com) [212.62.75.14] Without Ralph and Emac's season update GP3-2000 will surely not be the game it once once. Login and show your support. In the ideal world Emac and Ralph would support both GP3-2000 and GP4by Buzz Hornet - Grand Prix 4
