I am unsure whether the bugs can be fixed, I think the problem is with the engine. They have taken the engine used in GRID/DIRT and tried making a simulation out of an engine used to make arcade games. The flaws with the game can't be changed that much or patched as I feel the game engine is the problem.by bsmaff - Other Games
I know I am half to blame for the topic. But can we stop the gay old topic of PC versus console. And get this back on the topic of F1 2010.by bsmaff - Other Games
I think when it comes to PC's these days as long as you have a CORE 2 DUO and an 8800 or above and 4GB of ram your computer will run games better than any console. Cos the times of needing a top of the range PC to run games is now a massive myth. The consoles are 4 year old tech now and just about any PC would be able to run console games with a cheap £50 graphics card off ebay.by bsmaff - Other Games

Do you have any proof of retirements as I read on many forums and places that you can't retire through mechanical faults, as they felt people would not like retiring for reasons out of their control.by bsmaff - Other Games

Not convinced with the puncture video, he was driving at 160MPH or KM and the tyre didn't explode. After reading what some other forums have put and the fact there is no player retirements from mechanical faults on the game + the video. Codemasters are giving us a console happy arcade game. As much as I would love to join the hype and when it gets closer I will be more get more excited about it. But my main concern is this game is being built for console players, so the game will be more or less arcardy, I would love them to make a simulation like the Geoff Crammand games but they wont. The thing what also makes games the way they are as well is I love the modding of the PC withby bsmaff - Other Games
I have recently upgraded my computer from: AMD 64X2 6000+ 8800GTX 2GB of Ram. Running under Vista 64 I used to get about 50fps when running the game in 1280x1024 with everything maxed out completly. But I recently switched to: Intel Q9550 Quad Core ATI 4870 8GB of Ram Again using Vista 64 but this time I can only get 30 fps and the game jerks so much when driving past the piby bsmaff - Grand Prix 4

I have installed and run GP4 on vista and have not had any problems at all running it. The frame rate is about 15-20% slower than XP but no problems with install and running.by bsmaff - Grand Prix 4
