Hello all, Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've tried to use an existing carset that works with CSM but I can't get everything to work properly. does anyone have or can tell me how to make a 2004 carset that works correctly with CSM?? thanks. Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Holy Crap!!! that's fantastic work!! man, Gp4 is really taking off now!! thanks for the hard work. Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
ahhh, that looks nice Tony!!! keep it up! Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hey Fongu, thanks for the reply...I wonder what happens when the mirrors are turned off??? I'll try that when I get home. Other than that though, I really enjoy the 95 mod..I wonder if they will ever update it to a final version?? thanks, Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, sorry if my terminology is incorrect but my problem is this...in the 95' mod the small "windscreen" in front of the cockpit is acting like a mirror. it shows a reflection and I can't figure out what the problem is. I'm running a modified driver set for my Radeon 9100...it's one of the omega drivers I believe..could this be the problem??? Or is it suppby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Wow, simply the best great work Bojan chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
ohhh, that looks interesting!!! cya, chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
ahhh, thanks for that!! I'll give it a go when I get home before I watch Germany-Holland... thanks, Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, Sorry for the dumb questions today..but here comes another. It seems like my throttle is too sensitive when it's depressed. I mean....I don't even get the pedal pressed half-way down and the car is at the redline. I'm using a MoMO racing wheel and it calibrates just fine..split axis and all... It just bothers me that the pedal is not all the way depressed and Iby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, Sorry if this kind of problem has been solved already, but I've looked with no luck. I'm running a 2004 season with the cars that have been released and I cannot get the helmets of the drivers to match up with the correct cars!!! LOL All the names are correct...meaning the right drivers are in the right cars...but the helmets are wrong!! Montoya and Ralf's helmetsby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Holy cow, you guys are simply amazing!! Great work Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hey guys, Thanks so much for posting that so quickly Leslie!! Tony, I'm really looking forward to seeing what's next!!! thank you very much bro!! Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hello, I hate to seem like I'm begging...but I've just recently returned to the GP4 scene and I'd love to help beta test this mod. I'm running a P4 2.54, 512 ram, a Radeon 9100 and and Aureal sound card. I've been following F1 since about 89 and have loved it since. Thanks for all the hard work you've put into this mod...it looks stunning!!! thanks, Chaby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Wow, I like the changes!!! It will hopefully make the teams a bit more comptetive...at least in the future. However, I do have one concern....I hope they don't go overboard with their standardization of parts mandate. I don't want to be watching the IRL driving road courses. Of course I'm overgeneralizing here, but one of the reasons I like F1 is the freedoms the teams haveby Chappie - F1
Hi all, I'll bet my last dollar that the 1st shot IS from F1 2k2. I'm pretty sure it's a shot from the same guys that did th turbo mod...I'm not completely sure...but it sure does look like their work.. Link: BTW..the turbo-mod for F12k2 is great Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hey Ellis, Looks very good so far...is that one of Thrasher's models??? The reason I ask is because you said it looks great in F1 2001. Keep up the good work!!! Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hello, Hey RazTahZ..I have the same problem with the bumpmapping too. I'm running a Radeon 7500 in my machine. I would love to be able to use bumpmapping, but something is wrong with the ATI drivers...or it's the ATI hardware. I've tried all the Catalyst drivers with no luck..so now I just turn bumpmapping off.. Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hey Andrew, That looks very interesting!! Is that something that your are working on??? I love that era of F1. Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hello, I'll try the 2.3's tonight when I get home from work. I also get that annoying left mirror thing. I've considered reinstalling my cheap Geforce4 mx 420 more than once because of the way the Radeon card has troubles with GP4. Trouble is, the mx 420 card isn't as fast as the 7500. thanks Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
hiya acepaint, I'm running a radeon 7500 and I had the exact same results as you did with the 2.4 Catalyst drivers. I'm running the 2.1's right now with no problems... The 2.4 were very fast I thought, but the flashing was just a bit too annoying!!! LOL Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hi Larry, When GP4 first came out I was running a PIII 900, 512 ram and a geforce IImx video card. For Christmas, my wife bought a new system. Now I'm running a PIV 2.53, 512 ram and a Radeon 7500. I cannot tell you the difference the more powerful cpu makes!!! It's almost like a new sim. Something you might wanna try, and if you are doing this already forgive me. Turn off the soby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, I saw it at a Virgin Megastore while on a family vaction in Orlando, Florida. GP4 and F1 2002 side by side on the shelf, both $39.99. Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hiya, Try this site!! I recenlty discovered it and it's great IMO!! Make sure you click on the appropriate flag for your language and enjoy...some really great videos there, and some very sobering accidents.... Good luck, Chappieby Chappie - F1
Hiya Eugene, Where will you be coming from??? My brother and I are driving from Illinois on raceday. We are gonna leave around 4:00 am, which will put us there around 7:30 or so... Chappieby Chappie - F1
Ok, I can kind of see how a user based petition never works...look...the most feasible way of getting multiplayer in GP4 is to try and get some type of third party software invovled, ala` Vroc for GPL. The Relay online gaming system currently supports F1RC, F1 2001 and Rally Trophy. They are in the process of negotiations with EA to allow them to support F1 2002. This is my thoght, we need aby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
LOL!! hey, I'm glad I'm not alone on this. Guys, go to this url: Register in their forums and let your thought be known, but be nice!! Relay is most likely our only hope, and I'm not sure if it is even possible. But it's damn well worth a try!!! Chappieby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hello all, I have been searching for a good modern F1 multiplayer option. Yes, I have considered F1 2001/2002, but I don't like those sims. So I went to www.f1rcrelay.com and started looking into that. The Relay gaming system seems great. So, I have 2 questions....1. Does anyone have F1RC/and have used it with the Relay system?? And 2. Is anyone interested in starting a petition to cby Chappie - Grand Prix 4
Hey Bruno, I started that thread with a simple question concerning the USGP in September which I will be attending. From out of the blue comes someone with attacks against the US. At first I tried to ignore it, but after a while I decided to reply. I should not have, LOL. Anyway, I believe he should be banned from the forum. That may be a bit strict...but advocating terrorism is a bit extreby Chappie - F1
