Hey everyone, Here's yet another... no wait! Here are FOUR! new helmet shapes for the the early 90s, all from Bell: the XFM-1, M3, AFX-1, and Vortex models. The project started simply as a Bell M3 and my first built-from-scratch Blender model. Soon after I realised that there were a few different Bell models being run in the early 90s, with the XFM-1 one dating all the way back to 1979, sby Öggo - Grand Prix 4
If I'm not mistaken, the ZModeler *.gp4 plugin was designed to support only cars and other basic meshes. I don't think you can import a multi-scene *.gp4 file, and that's where GP4Builder comes in. You should be able to import the whole thing into Blender, but I'd still suggest for you to do any track-editing in GP4Builderby Öggo - Grand Prix 4
Animations are editable with the latest version of the GP4 Mesh Tools for Blender. Scripts and events are plain text files. So, no need for a programmer (anymore), you could do it yourselfby Öggo - Grand Prix 4
Short answer: yes, there should be. Slightly longer answer: it would most likely be quite a lot of work. In theory, by modifying the actual animations, plus scripts and events, you can get the pitcrews to do pretty much whatever you want. It's never been done before, because animations weren't editable until not too long ago. Would be a pretty amazing feat though!by Öggo - Grand Prix 4

Hey everyone, here's a little bit of a unique one for you: the Rheos helmet from the 1991 season. Rheos is a Honda/Mugen helmet that was used only during two seasons (1990 and 1991) and by only two drivers (Senna and Berger) as part of the works relationship that McLaren had with the Japanese manufacturer at the time. Great to hear you got it to work! The tweak was only meant for v1.02, as I didn't think anyone would still be using v1.00. Anyway, as far as the cars folder issue: there is a fix. I have mentioned WadController before, it has a feature to patch gp4.exe with ini files usually meant for CSM. Create a text file with the following content and name it something like DisableCarsFolder.ini.by Öggo - Grand Prix 4
I'm not entirely sure of what's going on. Make sure you're starting with a fresh gp4.exe. Maybe try running H&W Tweaker as administrator? Another possible approach for you could take woul be to use the INI Patcher function in Wad Controller. You can patch gp4.exe with the original *.ini files I had made. Once you've patched the exe, try running the game with an originalby Öggo - Grand Prix 4
If you're using H&W Tweaker, first, make sure you have gp4.exe selected in the "GP4.exe Path" box. Then check/select the tweak you want to apply and simply close the tool. The exe will be patched. To veryfiy that the patching was done correctly, open H&W Tweaker again: the options you had previously enabled should be automatically "selected". The Generate Wheelsby Öggo - Grand Prix 4
