Old Nurburgring, old Interlagos, old Kyalami, old Osterreichring, Spa-Francorchamps (the new layout is still pretty good), old Monza, Reims, Clermont-Ferrand, Rouen, old Paul Ricard. I loved the old extremely fast tracks as well as the ones which used parts of roads. It' s pity this combination of F1 tracks cannot be long and fast anymore for safety reasons, of course. My favourite GP4 trby pedropadilha - F1
I can't believe it! Paul Ricard, Osterreichring, old Kyalami... Long straights, fast corners, slipstreaming... My dreams are coming true!!!by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
I don't like Magny-Cours and Barcelona. And I hate Shangai! My favorite ones are the old Hockenheim, Montreal, Albert Park, Monaco, Spa and Monza.by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
Glad to hear that. I wasn't wrong about you two being not only great contributors to our community but also great men. Congratulations!by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
Hi, Nick >Then a lot of Brazilian are brainless. Sorry to say that, but dislike somebody >because he isn't as good as one of the greatest ever is just ridiculous and >idiotic. After Senna's death, many people stopped seeing F1 races. Of course, they weren't race fans. They were Senna fans. I think it happens with the greatest in all sports. I'm not a big tennisby pedropadilha - F1
A lot of Brazilians dislike Rubens because they think he wasn't able to fill in Senna's shoes. And who would? Germans may experience the same now Michael's retired. Massa has a much easier task: he has to beat Rubens. Only the Spyker are having some trouble doing that. But he had a very good race at Albert Park and almost finished in the points. I don't think he will be ableby pedropadilha - F1
Although I follow the threads in this community daily, I don't usually log in to write any comments. But I felt I had to say something about the events of the last couple of days. It is really sad when such talented people who share so many interests should spend so much time in a pointless argument. And I don't mean only Enzo and Nicola. I agree that it important that OUR communityby pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
I'm Brazilian and I don't think Massa was blocked. I think he hesitated for a moment if he would try to sue the slipstream of the Renault and lost some time.by pedropadilha - F1
It's really sad. I hope it wasn't because of the leechers. I hope you will reconsider and show up here from time to time.by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
My favorite ones are Spa, Monza, Monza, Melbourne, Montreal and the old Hockenheim. I'm 40 and I live in Paraíba do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
I think this layout is the best one, Jim. The old Tamburello and Villeneuve were much more fun than the dreadful chicanes that replaced them. But I think the modifications to Acque Minerale and Variante Bassa were for the better. Acque Minerale is more challenging than the boring chicane to slow the cars. And to eliminate the first part of Variante Bassa (where Barrichelo crashed in 94) was a greby pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
You send me a Personal Message in Portuguese and I'll try to help you, Rafael.by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
I agree we have to wait one or two races to see if the Ferraris can match Alonso's Renault. (We should forget Fisichella after another poor performance.) They maust have tried something with the tyre pressure in the first pit stop and it didn't work. Both cars were slow until they got fresh tyres. Maybe Renault thought the Ferraris had brake problems when called Alonso in earlier, but bby pedropadilha - F1
A1, please. It's the closest to the 1970's circuit and Mistral wasn't destroyed by chicanes. It's one of my favorite tracks ever. I had hoped Toyota would have used its influence to use Paul Ricard to replace the boring Magny-Cours and not Fuji to replace Suzuka.by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
The game always crashes when I try to load your new tracks, Tony. I can't figure what's happening. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I tried using CSM Build 55 but the result was the same. I'd love to test it. I've driven this track in TOCA Race Driver and I think it is more interesting than Silverstone.by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
Andretti had been driving F1 cars for many years before he won the 1978 title. He got the pole position in his first race though driving a Ferrari at Monza.by pedropadilha - F1
I'm a Montoya fan but I'd have to say he was a disappointment too. If the problem was the engine I agree with Thomas they should have changed it. Kimi started 22nd and was 3rd. Montoya started 5th and was 5th. Maybe if he had started 15th with a new engine he would have done better.by pedropadilha - F1
The three in the podium did a great job. I think Button wasn't as aggressive trying to pass Kimi as he was with Montoya. Nico was even more impressive if you think of the time he lost in the first lap. Webber isn't going to have an easy season. Massa was very fast too. He said on the Brazilian Tv he couldn't explain his strange spin. He was very unlucky in his first pit stby pedropadilha - F1
Can you send me this livery too, please?by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
Pelé explained his mistake in an interview. He didn't know which one was the leader's (Schumacher's) car. The race director told when he would tap Pelé on the should when the right car came around the last corner. But when he did so Pelé turned aound and went "What?". And Schumacher crossed the finish line.by pedropadilha - F1
I think Alonso will win the first race. Don't you tjink it's funny how nobody seems to remember Fisichella as a contender?by pedropadilha - F1
They should use darker red on the wings. The one they're using is too shiny and makes even the chrome seem plain grey! Is it only me or is the black part on the side of the car with the Johnie Walker logo very ugly too? Johnnie Walker sponsors a car in NASCAR and the livery is beautiful. In McLaren it seems they creates a chrome and shiny red livery and the simply threw a black Johhnnie Walkby pedropadilha - F1
Here in Brazil TV Globo doesn't interrupt the race with ads. During the race only the logos of the sponsors are shown on the top-left corner of the screen from time to time. Commercials are exhibited before the transmission begins, after the first comments with the cars on the grid commercials are shown again, there are no commercial during the race, only between the chequered flag and the pby pedropadilha - F1
The other driver is no doubt Max Wilson. Petrobras became the official fuel supplier for Williams in 1998. You can see the logo on Max Wilson's left sleeve. As part of the Petrobras-Williams deal, a Brazilian driver has to test with the team. After Wilson, Bruno Junqueiro, Rodrigo Sperafico and Antonio Pizzonia have driven a Williams. Last week João Paulo Oliveira joined them in this list.by pedropadilha - F1
Michael Schumacher won a British GP (can't remember the year) but didn't see the checkered flag. He had a drive-thru penalty and completed the last lap through the pitlane.by pedropadilha - F1
I think McLaren will probably have a season similor to the one they had in 2004. The tema will start very badly but will be competitive by the end of the season. Montoya and Kimi must be very disappointed that thei last season with the team will be long and frustrating!by pedropadilha - F1
I agree that 93 was possibly Senna's best year. McLaren didn'y have the best engine Ford had most of the season. Benetton got it. And Senna was the runner-up in the championship!by pedropadilha - F1
If any team needs a driver I'm available.by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
I avoid spinning by not going over the kerb on the right-hander. It is slower but your car won't jump or spin and you'll be able to accelerate again quickly.by pedropadilha - Grand Prix 4
