I have uploaded map and photo + video of a lap around fuji on my homepage: (just click on the text-link) I don't have the time or ability to make a track for gp4 myself, but maybe the files can be helpful for others. Cheers, and good luck!by orjanbye - Grand Prix 4
Thank you, Zeppelin! This will certainly be helpful for lost newbies like me.by orjanbye - Grand Prix 4

Thank you guys, for your helpful advice. I look forward to read zeppelins new guide. In the meantime I will try to learn the basics. I just figured out the coordinate system and made a blank, empty space wad-file and dat-file. It seems like 0 degree direction follows the y-axis, so I will think of this as north. And 90 degree is along the x-axis. Once I have the directions right and have the fby orjanbye - Grand Prix 4
Well, I have tried to learn how to make a track, but I find it very difficult. I started with "how to make a track in 60 min." but the .dat file never loaded in GP4, I only got crash to desktop. I am slowly coming to grip with the user interface in 3D-editor, but I still don't feel comfortable. And I have to learn everything on my way from file formats to which software to useby orjanbye - Grand Prix 4
O.k. I have uploaded part 1 of the onboard movie (I used rar to split it in two): (edit): And here is part 2:by orjanbye - Grand Prix 4
Good news, I managed to find the same file on the net by searching on parts of the filename. It is on this page, look under "Video Mugello agosto 2004": There are lots of other videos as well.by orjanbye - Grand Prix 4
I have a good onboard movie shot from a S2000 mugen car. Only problem is the file is 100 MB big which is more than my own webspace. If anyone know how to put it on the web I would be happy to do. (I may be able to reduce the size by cutting out a lap or two and compress with xvid). I put another photo, map and elevation data on my homepage some time ago:by orjanbye - Grand Prix 4
Hi, I don't know if you already have this, but I have a big map of the circuit on my homepage. It's a copy of Tilkes press file map from his ftp server: Just in case it's of any help. I am looking forward to try the finished circuit!by orjanbye - Grand Prix 4
To Zeppelin 101, I have two onboard movies from Valencia, if it helps you for judging elevation. Especially the last curve has some serious gradients. One is with Alx Danielsson in a formula renault, the other is with Jordi Gene in a touring car. Alx has some photos from Valencia on his homepage too (www.alx.nu).by orjanbye - Grand Prix 4
