Problem (finally) solved. For me it was an FPS issue. Went from 60 fps to 30 fps and all my problems were gone. It also made the steering way better, the car stopped understeering, it entered the corners way more sharp and was way more predictable in all conditions. In Windows 7 I didn't have the jitter problem to begin with but lowering fps did improve the steering significantly. I guess thby PWM - Grand Prix 4

So I'm starting a vanilla GP4 season and tried to practice for my opening race in Melbourne. Tried, because the game was almost unplayable. On dry weather it was kinda OK but I still made some weird mistakes from time to time, mostly by spinning with too much throttle. Felt like there was a lag between the car stepping out and me feeling it on ff. In wet it was 100% hopeless. I couldn&by PWM - Grand Prix 4
My tutorial on installing GP4 on Windows 11/10 was removed by YouTube for being "harmful content". I'm very sorry for creating this harmful content. Hopefully everyone is ok. Thankfully it's gone now. Also I was planning to make a video about the installer by Carl but I'm sure that would be harmful too so I do not dare.by PWM - Grand Prix 4
Haha, for couple of years I was thinking I should make an installation tutorial of GP4 on my YouTube -channel. Last week I FINALLY did it...... and three days after that you release this :D Now I'll have to do another video about the installer! Anyways, great job Carl and thank youby PWM - Grand Prix 4

Basic GP4 installation tutorial for n00bs. In this one it's installed on Windows 11 but of course also applies to Windows 10 just the same. I know all the information is already on the forums, but perhaps this will reach more "casual" players who are not active in grandprixgames.org. Sharing the tutorial here is kinda preaching to the choir but feedback is always appreciated sinby PWM - Grand Prix 4
I've frequently been getting requests for making a tutorial on GP3 with Windows 10 so I made one and thought I'd share it here as well. All required steps are included so anyone should be able to get the game up and running even without prior experience on patches, GPxPatch, Direct X wrappers or anything. I didn't get DxWnd to work on my PC so only dgVoodoo is included. The guidby PWM - Grand Prix 3
So some of you might know I've been doing 100% seasons of GP series on YouTube and just got finished with Grand Prix 2. So now it's time to move on to GP3! I've been practicing quite a bit for the opening race at Melbourne but my pace has been quite disappointing thus far. I've been doing a lot of work with the car setup and my driving but have done little progress. So if yby PWM - Grand Prix 3

Surprisingly I had a chance to race today, so here's the race # 5 - Montreal. This was by far the most exciting and interesting race I've had this season. A very dramatic beginning of the race and a hard fight through the traffic after that. And at the closing stages of the race, when things finally seem to have settled down - a very surprising turn of events! Check it out:by PWM - Other Games
Thank you for the compliments man, great to hear you enjoy! There might be a break between the videos, just ran a marathon yesterday and my feet are quite sore, can't operate pedals :D Hopefully I'll find time to drive some time next week before I leave for a holiday. Hopes are not too high for Canada tough, the circuit seems to bee incredibly difficult to drive with a wheel. Esby PWM - Other Games
Thanks for the tip senna_fan, didn't come to my mind that it would indeed spoil the end result of the race! I will view the rest of the race in real time next time I retire (hopefully never!) Race #2 @ Interlagos: Was a tough one. Again. (For some reason the sound is a bit off-sync with the video, didn't have that problem in the first race. Dunno why, must look into that as well...) TED MEATby PWM - Other Games
Hello everyone! It's been a long term dream of mine to go trough at least one season of all the Grand Prix games (1-4) with 100% races with no driving helps and driving with wheel and pedals. Hardest difficulty, no restarts. I used to play the early games in the 90's with a keyboard and it was quite easy to win the championship. A different story with a wheel and no steering assiby PWM - Other Games
