i recommed nvidia inspector for fine tuning the nvidia settings. especialy experimenting with "LOD bias" settings may reduce the pixelation of high res textures. additionally you shoud try reducing the sharpness in the fgraphics.cfg setting "Mipmap bias"by idplayer - Grand Prix 4
you must register the exe-files in the data execution prevention list (DEP) if you use win 7 64bit or higher. google for it. on the microsoft page there is a good description how to add programs to DEPby idplayer - Grand Prix 4
great and huge mod! for info: i have the "white car and race track texture problem" with 1920x1080 resolution and maximum graphics settings. i do not have this problems with same config settings playing the gp4 central season mods with csm. i wonder why this does not work with your mod. only thing that helps is lowering the texture quality settingsby idplayer - Grand Prix 4
just for info: i had the same problem with the decrypted gp4.exe (texture problems in high res) downloaded from gp4db (same as the officially posted Decrypted Nocd for GP4 1.02 by FairLight ). i tried my older decrypted gp4.exe (sightly smaller than the gp4db one, i think it's not the updated one) which does not produce this error and what i still use. if i change back to the fairlight exe tby idplayer - Grand Prix 4
tread is old but for others who read and use win 7 64 bit or higher: it helps to add the csm.exe ( an the gp4.exe and other tool exes) to win dep (data execution prevention list) otherwise you get crashes with programs which are built with older programming tools/compilers designed for 32bit and xp and a maximum of 4GB system memory (if not already done). just google for that. on microsoft pageby idplayer - Grand Prix 4
1. i read in many treads about instability and problems running the csm.exe and gp4.exe in combination with win 7 64bit and upwards 2. this is my working solution: the most important setting is to include csm.exe, gp4.exe and other related gp4 tools, running as exe, in the data execution prevention (DEP) in win7 64bit or higher - just google "Change Data Execution Prevention settings"by idplayer - Grand Prix 4
