I tried and I love the 1967 Mod! It really does look good and is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, initially I kept on (CTD) crashing back to the desktop.... but then I suddenly had an epiphany ... I decided to try swapping-in my stable GP4.exe which is 5.96 MB (6,250,496 bytes) --- and swapping out the .exe included in the MOD which is 5.98 MB (6,275,072 bytes) and Wow, the game apby vicnsi - Grand Prix 4

The StarWars theme is out of this world! (quite literally, hehe ) Your MotoGP, 1955, 1967 & TC-Stockcar themes, all look to be a lot of fun, judging by your excellent well-made youtube videos. You know, I'm persuaded to have a go, for sure! Truly amazing effort all around. Your dedication to GP4 is inspiring. Kudos! And Many Thanks for your encouragement.by vicnsi - Grand Prix 4

I think the "copy" option just means you don't have to start from scratch for a new track, if this track is similar to a another track where you've already made a perfect setup... I've done this many times. For example you can copy Monaco.csg and then tweak it for Singapore.csk, etc., etc., are the default car setups exactly the same for every track? great questionby vicnsi - Grand Prix 4
Yes. Kind of: Apparently there was some guy attempting to sell this gp4forever 2016 MOD on eBay. FAIL! So all of gp4forever contributors sorta holding back waiting for that storm get resolved & blow over, maybe then more news'll be forthcoming regarding new updates, new releases for the MOD, etc. (tried out the MOD & I have to say, it really is quite awesome!!! Very Happy for you Laurent (I am retired now from all the stress of full time Sys Admin work ) But I know you will enjoy it. Have fun. Thank you for all your tools & utilities without which I definitely would have given up playing GP4 many many years ago, but my passion for the game is still alive and well as much as ever, Thanks to GP4 Builder; TeamEditor; GPI Browser; WadUpdater; &by vicnsi - Grand Prix 4
In case this is helpful for someone else still stuck in a similar situation that I was in a year ago: Just over one year ago I wanted to turn my back on GP4 and totally give up playing this beautiful & timeless F1 simulator, but and I have found new hope for GP4 , as I can start to see some progress regarding overcoming CTD issues - I finally discovered that AVG Anti-virus has been the BIby vicnsi - Grand Prix 4
I finally made Menu TeamArt and GridCars to go along with the textures-only 2016 carset, which I made to go over the classic GP4 car shapes. For anyone here who's still quite happy to keep using GP4 in its original configuration, get this simple 2016 MoD to make the experience even better, as I bring the original 2001 car liveries & F1 teams fairly up-to-date. ...here's someby vicnsi - Grand Prix 4
I have just upgraded my Windows 8.1 PC to Windows 10. Upgrade went smoothly. With no major issues (yet!). Fired up and ran GP4 via GPxPatch (as Admin, with Windows XP SP2 compatibility). Watched a race from start to finish, no issues there either. no CTD! So, it was Looking promising at first. Unfortunately, further testing has shown me that occasional GP4 crashes continue to occur despite taking all the aforementioned steps. I'm running GP4 on Windows 8.1 with Bing. Sharing this in case it could be helpful to anyone else. ++++++++ EDIT: Guys I am losing all hope on this problem... WOW! nice looking MOD, phantaman, judging by the looks of the Force India on splash screen. is that how the car appears in the MOD? Looks amazing.by vicnsi - Grand Prix 4
Thanks, gp4wonder. This seems to work for me! i.e. for the first time in a very long time, was able to drive in the Sim for more than 2 hours without crashing back to desktop. I need to carry on testing further to be 100% certain. But I am definitely noticing a huge improvement.
