Decided to return to the wonders of GP4 after a couple of years absence. Tried to kick-start my previously downloaded 1984 Mod but can't get past 'Drive'. Could this be to do with using my own 1984 track profile as I wanted to start a World Championship? Is there a quick fix as I can't seem to find a working link to re-download it?by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for that - how do I change the lines in the CSM file??by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Anyone got the Formula 1 tv logo by any chance??by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks, hopefully I'll get the pit lane sorted and then start with the next phase...by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Sent it to you in a PM, I've uploaded it through the path - I think...by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4

So my quest in building my street circuit based on my hometown continues... I have managed to shorten it from the original 1,676 sectors down to around 1,279 plus whatever I get from the pitlane. Overview attached... Speaking of the pitlane, I think I've made a bit of a boob. I decided to start building the lane from scratch on the belief it would be quicker than using Melbourne&by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4

Seem to have an issue in installing the mod. I try the install new carset through CSM and it can't find the CSM file, although it appears in Windows Explorer. Try clicking the icon through Explorer but I keep getting a dialog box saying that it is 'probably an old mod without an installation file...' Any help?? Can't wait to get stuck into this one...by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Just a curious issue with the 1994 mod. I keep trying to use Profiles from other years or lists I've created, and the mod seems to just upload the first track even when I select upload all 16. There are times also where it crashes on the loading screen when trying to race on other circuits in the 1994 'mod defined' list. Any ideas?? I've tried a fresh download/install ofby foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
I've come up with a Plan B with my track but I'm unsure if I can alterations mid-circuit - am I able to remove sectors mid circuit? or do I have to remove from the end and work back to where I want to make the change??by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
no probs - I think I have a Plan B in mindby foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Another quizzical thought. In the GP4 settings, do the 'Random' and 'All the Same' level selection still work in the mods?by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
I did wonder why I used to blast away from 10th/11th on the grid to 1st in the 1983 mod using Mansell's Lotus, and then fall back to 3rd/4th in his Williams in the 1991 mod.by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Hmmm... Quite a thought-provoking notion, however maybe not a favourable one. My track has crossed over the S/F line at 1676 Sectors (assuming you don't need any extra Sectors at that point) excluding pit-lane (currently set at 161 sectors (Melbourne template) however that number could be halved with the required length of the pit lane). False hope maybe. Another interesting thought tby foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks all, I say 3/4mile as in 0.75 miles. I may be lucky as I believe the pit lane may be shorter than first thought. Will have a bash...by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Oh FUDGE! And I reckon I was about 3/4miles away from completing it . Ahh well, thanks anyway - will have to do a TomTom and find an alternative routeby foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Hi, My current quest in building my home-town circuit has come up with a concern as I've just received a pop-up dialog saying I have reached sector 1,500. Although it appears I can still build beyond this on GP4Builder, does this mean the GP4 won't allow me to upload it because it believes the circuit is 'too long'??by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Just wondering how can you implement it into the gameplay?by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
After watching the highlights of the 1991 Spanish Grand Prix on SSF1 last week, I was wondering if anyone had created any of the TV graphics that were used then until 1993 before the more (probably the most) familar TV graphics came along in 1994. An example below... If no-one has, I was wondering how much of a task it would be to create such graphics and integrate it into GPby foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Potentially tempted - what about car setups? Track dependant presets on GP4 or our own?? Out of curiosity - how much does the Super League differ. I assume there's no driver aidsby foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Hi, Just loaded up CSM and keep getting a dialog box say that the 'exe' is not the original exe and asks me to re-install a fresh exe - I'm assuming this as in the GP4 install. In either case, my CSM now won't load. I have tried using PatchDownloader to reinstall, but the installation bar doesn't seem to move. Any help?? Would I need to re-install my GP4 again??by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks will do! Anyone got a download link for Vegas??by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Just compiling a 1984 Profile on TSM and thought I'd open up for any suggestions for any 1984-esque circuits to replace Dallas as I've not seen a track download; and also the Track 17 to fill in at the end. I did consider Adelaide for Track 17 as it was introduced in the calendar in '85 but I thought that would be too easy of a replacement...by foxtrot1985 - Grand Prix 4
Hi, Success - I've managed to get the .gp4 files but now I have a access violation error message popping up. Unfortunately 'ma Français c'est un peu rouillé' so I'm not sure what it means or what I can do to overcome it....
