Another recommendation for the G27. Works fine with Windows 7 although, as Fergy points out, better to use the drivers from Logitech. The only thing the G27 doesn't have, as opposed to its predecessor the G25, is the ability to turn the H-pattern into a sequential shifter. That said, I never used it when I had my G25 and I actually prefer the slightly more chunky feel of the G27 gearing.by Koku - Grand Prix 4
Love your mods, Pedro, have spent an inordinate amount of time playing them since release! Gutted to hear that you lost so much work; all I can say is a BIG thank you for the work you do for the community!by Koku - Grand Prix 4
Sorry to hear that, Pedro. Must be crushingly disappointing to lose that work. I hope you know that we're all massively appreciative of the work you've done with your mods so take some time out and enjoy doing what you want to doby Koku - Grand Prix 4
DaveEllis, I think to be fair to Elio the concern raised is not so much one of bias but of promotion. Promoting the profile of the racing Brits in British broadcasts ("bias" if you will) has been around since the days of radio; from Clark & Graham Hill, to James Hunt, to Mansell, to Damon Hill, to Coulthard (to an extent) and certainly to Lewis. Murray was never impartial to anby Koku - F1

At last! Legard is gone! Not sure about DC, having 2 former drivers and putting more emphasis on Martin Brundle. I was hoping for another commentator to leave MB to do what he does best; those insightful little jabs. Neverthless, am more than willing to give this combo a fair run with Jonadrone Lethargic out of the way!by Koku - F1
Butt-clenchingly exciting, Pedro! Well done!by Koku - Grand Prix 4

I think F1 2010 would struggle to run on that setup; it might chug away if selected on the lowest settings though. I've played F1 2010 relentlessly since last Friday. At this point I've come to the realisation that I'm just trying to hammer myself into really liking it. But I don't. There are some nice things; the career mode is a good shot at longevity and a night race at Singapore in the wet is truly jaw-dropping. But that's just gravy. The game is so riddled with bugs and a lacby Koku - Grand Prix 4
Very interesting interview from "Sir" Geoff; thanks for posting the link! As my disillusionment with F1 2010 grows and my love for GP4 endures, I can only dream of a Geoff Crammond-led GP5!by Koku - Grand Prix 4
I do like F1 2010, honestly. I came at it with an open mind and I enjoy the slick production and presentation, up to a point (which will wear off quite quickly, I'm sure). I do like what they've squeezed out of the EGO engine. The graphics are genuinely enthralling. But, all F1 2010 has done is to make me appreciate GP4, and all the work of the modders, even more. I appreciate all the work that the GP4 community has done for this game. However good or bad F1 2010 turns out to be, I'll still be playing GP4 (probably Pedro's 80s mods)by Koku - Grand Prix 4

Hi Zaz, I've followed your advice and managed to cobble together all the drivers for my XPS. Now running GP4 on W7 Ultimate x64. Works like a dream! Thank you so much!by Koku - Grand Prix 4

Hmm, based on your inspirational answer I've been Googling away and I think I've found most of the drivers I need (all except the Firewire which I don't use on this machine). Got my copy of Windows 7by Koku - Grand Prix 4
Hi Zaz, thanks for the reply! My 32bit lappy came supplied with 4GB RAM, despite not being able to use all of that lovely memory (good ol' Dell). I've been tempted to find a 64bit solution, just to increase the framerate or reduce PO for GP4 but I can't install Windows 7 64bit on this machine without a lot of problems (as Dell don't provide any drivers for this XPS model).by Koku - Grand Prix 4
Gratulerer med dagen! Maligayang kaarawan! (Happy Birthday!) My many thanks to the site and all the people who have contributed to it. May all your honestly appreciated hard work continue to be enjoyed for another 10 years!by Koku - Grand Prix 4
Hi Zaz, would the cap also work in a similar fashion for Vista 32bit? I have 4GB RAM, I'm just nervous about buggering up my installation of GP4 if I start messing about with the .exeby Koku - Grand Prix 4
