Great job This is my first time here since more than 10 years, and i'm very happy to see the community is still supporting GP4 GP4 rulez!!by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Wow, after a few months disconnected from Gp4 world, I'm impressed to see the huge improvements of the old 3DEditor. Congratulations Mr.Rousseauby Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4

yep, that´s what I did, the only way is use championship editor in a new championship season.by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
There´s some way to change de fps settings in a saved game?. I changed my pc, changed the fps to 47 and when I load my championship (that I started in my old pc) the fps back to 30.by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Well, finally I think the problem is due to Windows XP, because I installed Win 2k today in other patition and I just have to run Gp4 the 2 hours of a friday session, playing replays all the time with no prob. When I installed Win XP the last wednsday I had some troubles with the nVidia LAN adapter (probably due to the drivers). I surfed the web with no problems, but when I downloaded any fileby Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, a few days ago I installed the last Creative driver, the beta and non-beta, but the problem continues anyway. Also, yesterday I turned the DRAM timings on "Auto" in bios (2.5-3-3-5 2T), but didn´t got solution. Anyway, this memories are prepared to run at 1.5-2-2-5 1T.by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
I turned off the onboard sound device from BIOS, but the problem persists. I finally think the memory is getting conflicts, because Gp4 crashes when I´m playing a replay. My memory is running at 2-2-2-5 1T timings, could this cause the problem?. I tried to back to a previous Forceware driver, but the problem persists as well.by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Hmm.. weird, with Doom 3 I having problems as well, but this time it gives a thypically "doom3.exe gives an error and will be closed by windows" instead of the blue screen. Maybe my SB card could be defective? Here are my specs Asus A8N SLI-Premium Athlon 64 3700+ "San diego" 1 Gb DDR400 Geil One-BH Gainward Geforce 7800 GTX Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS 2x Seagate 250 Gby Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
I just have to build my new PC with a Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS soundcard and now this card is giving conflicts with Gp4. After few minutes running in track, randomly the sound goes more treble, with a highly tone, and then a death blue screen appears in WinXP. I change the sound device in control panel to the motherboard sound device and then Gp4 runs perfect. Anyone have this soundcard runningby Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Great job guys!!!, I´ve been waiting this track for a long time!!. The most used track in pre-seasons is coming for Gp4 !!!!by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Thanks guys, I´ll get the Seagates next week.by Borjaserrano - Off-Topic
Thanks, I ordered two Seagates already but at last time I doubt if the S-ATAII could be a better bet. Finally I´ll get the Seagates.by Borjaserrano - Off-Topic
hm, I need this hard disks to work in video editing, so I need at least 500 Gb for my work, games and other stuff. Could you give me any link to any review or benchmark of this technology?. You think the Samsung hd is a lot faster than Seagate?. BTW, finally I bought the Asus A8N SLI-Premium /edit And what about Hitachi?, they make also Serial-ATAII hard drives, but without NCQ protocolby Borjaserrano - Off-Topic
I´m going to buy two hd´s to mount in a raid and i´m looking for this two models: - Seagate 250 Gb Serial-ATA/150 NCQ (8.0 ms time access) - Samsung 250 Gb Serial-ATAII/300 NCQ (8.9 ms time access) Which hd you think could give more performance?. Anyone have a Serial-ATAII hd?, this hd´s seems to have a bigger time access, but maybe get more performace because his bandwidth. The two modelsby Borjaserrano - Off-Topic
Uuupss... sorry for my mistake, this time i´m not drunken :Dby Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
:O wwow!!, fantastic car MDBSnake!by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
@ mad otter I didn´t found any Corsair RAM with the timings of the GEIL (1.5-2-2-5). Moreover Corsair are more expensive rams isn´t it?. About hd´s, I think Seagate get better performance than western digital, I always used Seagate hd´s and I´m very happy with that. @ gav Thanks, I don´t want this pc for overclocking, my actual mobo is a MSI and it runs fine.. but my mobo is much moreby Borjaserrano - Off-Topic
Um.. good to know this. And you think ASUS is the best deal?, what do you think for example.. of DFI mobos?, I heard they get a great performance. At any rate, clearly the durability is the first thing, I wouldn´t like my computer crashes in any laarge video render session...by Borjaserrano - Off-Topic
gav Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'd just change the MSI motherboard for an ASUS > A8N-SLI Premium. Really?, you think ASUS mobo is better than the MSI?, why?. At first appearance it seems both mobos don´t have too much differences, the MSI have a Creative Soundblaster live onboard sound chip, and the ASUS have a Realtek sound chip. After four years with my P4 1.7 Ghz, 512 Mb RDRAM, Radeon 9800pro... I think it´s time to buy a new PC. I´ll use this new PC basically to work (video editing) and play games. This is the system that I look for now: MB: MSI K8N Platinum SLI Processor: Athlon 64 3700+ Boxed, OPGA, "San Diego" Processor cooler: Thermalrock Silent Rock RAM Memory: G.E.I.L. A really terrible event. My condolences to all English people, and to everybody who was affected to this horrible attack. In Spain we know good (unfortunately) the feeling caused by a similar terrorist attack. I´m afraid nobody is free for this kind of attacks, until drastic positions may come.by Borjaserrano - Off-Topic
I have just to try the rFactor demo and I have to say it´s the most realistic sim that I ever tried. The physics are bloody great, the driving is 100% realistic. Graphics and sound perfect. But the thing that most gratified me is the dynamic sun lighting. Furthermore, my humble P4 1.7Ghz runs this sim fine at 1024x768 32 bit, 2xAA, 4xAF. Can´t wait to buy this game and try the f1 mod.by Borjaserrano - Other Games
Simply awesome, it seems this car will become the best in Gp4 this year for the moment. These renders looks amazing.by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Yeah.. now runs fine. Curious methodby Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Ah! ok. I set the rims in slot 2 (BAR) on mclaren with Team Editor and now McLaren have Enkei rims, but BAR have Bridgestones!.by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
Then, I don´t know if I understood your method: You changed Team 5 by Team 2 in performance file?by Borjaserrano - Grand Prix 4
