What operating system are you trying to run it on? It will only work on XP and Win98SE. I've had that error message only when the .NET Framework wasn't installed and when I tried to run in on Win98 Make sure you installed version 1.0 or 1.1 of the framework. I haven't tried version 2.0 yet as I think it might still be a beta version. I've been very busy lately and haveby CC - Grand Prix 4
Have you installed the .NET Framework? and also your computer, GPxPatch must be set to english otherwise it will not run.by CC - Grand Prix 4
As requested. Here is version 1.18 of GPLapper. Most of the changes were small except for one major change. I added an ability to export to XML file for some of the data, so i could import it into my GPCareer program. I didn't think this version was worth releasing as most of the changes were for myself. I suppose most modern spreadsheets should be able to import XML files (I havenby CC - Grand Prix 4
I only play championships, so i'm not sure about non championship files. If you see any files in the top right listbox..click on the first one. There are 6 checkbox's with the tyre choice's in the middle, one of these should become enabled...click on that one and the tyres that you have used in that session should be listed below those six checkbox's. 1) Yes there is a GP4Wears, must be available to download around somewhere. 2) Not that I'm aware of. You can see your tyre wear while in practise and warm up though in GPxPatch.by CC - Grand Prix 4
Just uploaded version 1.10 of GPLapper. It seems I broke the the ability to clear the Drivers/Teams in version 1.9 Sorry about that. If your using v1.9 you can backup your database's and copy them back after installing but if your using v1.7 or ealier you will have to start fresh again with the current set of database's. The site is:.. Go to downloads page CCby CC - Grand Prix 4
hmmm....Thanks 32BoBo32, But make sure you tell them that GPLapper will only work properly if they are using the english version of GP4, GPxPatch and that their computer is set to english as i can't get the CultureInfo class to work.by CC - Grand Prix 4
In the textbox on the Import form (left white box), you could try replacing the words "Fri practise 1" or "Sat practise" with Pre-season testing or something like that. Make sure you don't overwrite the date on the end though and back your database's up first before doing it. Not sure if it will work or not as this field is what i'm using as a filter but youby CC - Grand Prix 4
For those interested: Fixed the bug showing the incorrect tyre in the winners tabpage. I'm not sure at what point I broke this, I know I fixed it once before, hopefully it will stay "Fixed" this time. And just a couple of very small changes and additions. Unfortunately I've made changes to the database structure in this version so you will not be able to backup yourby CC - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, i've not been able to download anything from this site.by CC - Grand Prix 4
For those of you that are interested, I have updated GPLapper to version 1.7. I added a couple of charts showing the lap positions and the times, I had some trouble trying to show the correct lap times (EG: 1:26.450) so I've had to display them in seconds (Eg: 86.450). I didn't realise there already was a lap charting program out there so i have quickly finished it and wont be contiby CC - Grand Prix 4
intweb: Send my log file back to me please, the one your using right there. That log works fine so that empty string "" you see proberly means something has gone missing from that! fulcoboy: Is that in the Speed trap page? or the winner info at the top of the form? Is your computer in english? as it's not going to work if your regional settings aren't in english. Iby CC - Grand Prix 4
If you look at GPxPatch help, SDI lists what each value in a "Lap" entry is. Mine should have a temp value on the end because i've used that log file and it does work, yours on the other hand only has the fuel value as the last entry. You should be using GPxPatch 3.91 also make sure you load the file in the correct order, AFTER extracting the drivers/teams you...... clickby CC - Grand Prix 4
Apparently you can have both versions installed from what i have read without it causing any trouble, but in this case it's not needed as Bernard (from france) has v1.1 on his system and GPLapper is working ok (his problem is in fact a cultural thing relating to decimals). GPLapper start's doesn't it? If there was something wrong with the framework then GPLapper just wouldn'by CC - Grand Prix 4
b-tone: I don't have win2k, so the chance's are proberly zero...sorry intweb: Before you do that, does the prototype version work? We know that works because you were using it, right?? If that doesn't work then something must have changed on your system that GPLapper doesn't like, what i don't know. CCby CC - Grand Prix 4
For those that are interested, I've put up version 1.4 of GPLapper. I've added a view to see the lap records, pole and race winner, I've also re-wrote the algorithm to clear the database's (much quicker now). I've moved the drivers/team to another database (Recorddata) so unfortunately you will not be able to just copy the database's over. If you are in the midby CC - Grand Prix 4
Ali If you send me the log file i can have a look (email addy on the web page). Is your GPxPatch version 3.91? and are you using english version of GPxPatch as there appears to be a problem with the french version where it doesn't write the trackname at the end of the line...."Trackload" Also GPLapper was made for a single championship mode, it more than likely wont workby CC - Grand Prix 4
intweb I don't think the framework is the problem as i just got an email from Bernard(from France) and he's got GPLapper working now aslong as he changes the decimal prompt from "," to "." on his system. Did you look at my log file the way it is set out and compared it to yours? When i looked at yours it was just one big paragragh! There was no line breaks at aby CC - Grand Prix 4
Thats good Mini Maestro. Yes it does take a bit of understanding to make it work properly, it's mainly in the way you save and loading the log files, it must be done in a certain way. For Everyone: Thanks to Bernard I've found that if you dont have an english version of GP4 and your language settings aren't in english on your computer then GPLapper will not work. He showed mby CC - Grand Prix 4
I just re-installed my version and imported a log file ok from this current championship i'm doing, intweb I'll assume you meant v1.3 not v1.2 Did you remember to add your drivers and teams again? You have to do this if your starting from a fresh install. If it imported ok with no errors but nothing seems to be happening that might be it. Hi everyone For those that are interested or are using GPLapper, I have updated GPLapper to version 1.3 Unfortunately you wont be able to backup the database file's and copy them back as it seems to muck the data up so you will have to re-enter the log files (you did keep them didn't you?). If not then just finish your current championship season with v1.2 and start fresh nextby CC - Grand Prix 4
Thanks intweb I proberly should have mentioned that if you are in the middle of a championship, you wont see any thing in the results page as you must start from track one (melbourne), likewise if you have re-ordered in GP4 the tracks then you will have to change the order of the tracks in the Lapper.xml file (don't forget to re-number them correctly). If like me you haven't changby CC - Grand Prix 4

Hi Everyone I'm just letting everyone know that i have released GPLapper v1.2 GPLapper will read in the laps.log file that is created by GPxPatch and display the data in a grid showing the laptimes, calculates the difference between drivers, ect. For race it also calculates how many laps a driver has lead and how many fast laps done. It shows a Drivers & Constructors championsby CC - Grand Prix 4
