Hum, a bit curious for me. If we select the track in CSM, then I have to exit GP4, select another track in CSM and reload the game if I want to drive on another one, haven't I? But better that way than beeing restricted to 17 tracks .by ricky - Grand Prix 4
19 races will be possible in 2005 mod? "Only" by selecting from CSM which 17s of the 19s to use, or will we be able to select all 19 races in GP4 main menu?by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Mr Pibb, that's what I was searching for. I'll try it next week and hopefully don't forget to post some screenies . Many thanks for anyone trying to help me rickyby ricky - Grand Prix 4
Hi GP4 community After one year without GP4 I reinstalled the old good game and was searching for track updates (after Lo2k is doing great work!). I'm found an beta version of the Bahrain track but can't use it without loosing the Interlagos race. Problem is, that Bahrain track uses its wad file called interlagos2001.wad. It easy to change the prefix of the track data with cmagiby ricky - Grand Prix 4
Ah, great, I'm happy then, because I couldn't believe new GPxSAT could cause a PO hit :-P.by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Maybe your digital siemens logo (watch for siemens_digital.tga or something like that) is corrupt?by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Well, the AlphaValue thing is very very old . It is only for classic and old digital screens.by ricky - Grand Prix 4
BTW: You can write text strings, used in digital2004, small, they will be converted into uppercase when using classic or digital mode. Example: Intermediate1=Intermédiaire 1 Intermediate2=Intermédiaire 2 .. I hope it works with french special chars as é, etc. Cheers rickyby ricky - Grand Prix 4
@MLAM: Only the old digital one? Or the old classic one, too? @Borjaserrano: Could you try it again with the new GPxPatch 3.91? The problem should be fixed now. Cheers Rickyby ricky - Grand Prix 4
Well, they are thereby ricky - Grand Prix 4
Yep, I think (and hope) I've fixed the error. It was very simple and it doesn't appear on my system anymore - I hope on yours, too . I've sent my code to Rene (there are some other fixes containing the track map, too), but you have to wait for next release (I guess 3.91). Cheers Rickyby ricky - Grand Prix 4
Ah, ok that could be a reason. It didn't appear on my system, but maybe I could reproduce the error. I could imagine the problem. I'll have a look into that. Cheers Rickyby ricky - Grand Prix 4
This error has nothing to do with wrong settings or graphic cards. Just explain if this ever happens or only sometimes and when (on certain curcuits, on certain track places, only in race, etc.). This is a problem with my animation class, I guess . If I can locate the error, I'll try to fix it. Cheers Rickyby ricky - Grand Prix 4
What happens if you set in the gpxsat.ini under section TrackMap = 0? Does it still happen?by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Hi, I need some help (especially graphical help) and opinions (that's more important) for next and probably last (for a while) GPxSAT release. As usual it isn't very much work to do . You find more informations on . Thanks for helping or giving your opinion. Cheers Rickyby ricky - Grand Prix 4
@Dinga: Does it work for you, now?by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Well just send Rene an email (gpxpatch@xs4all.nl) or write into GPxPatch forum on .by ricky - Grand Prix 4
In fact you could really do it with GPxCInfo and tga file format. I would like to use your great helmet visor, it really looks great .by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Well, don't know if you know it, but I know the satus of CC line editing. Just have a look at the search option of the forum and you'll find it.by ricky - Grand Prix 4
I didn't know there is such a plugin, so are you sure aquarius_varun?by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Well, you're right erwin. I guess 3dEditor version 99 will be the last one on christmas 2004 as a little present .by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Damn, you did a great job again, Laurent. Thank you for spending so many hours (well you can't count them in hours, I'm sure, so let's say time) for such a great project. I'm amazing about your fast progress and I'm sure there will be still some surprises in next versions. Just take a little time for yourself (I know the community won't like to hear it ), relax, sby ricky - Grand Prix 4
I think you're claiming that the siemens logo doesn't appear on screen - that's because I havn't implemented it, yetby ricky - Grand Prix 4
Before any questions appear, there are no GPxSAT fixes. I'm currently a bit slowly .by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Well, Ricky is just my nickname, as yours isn't probably edoby ricky - Grand Prix 4
I'm thinking about this, because these are only Digital 2004 related timing screens. I'm currently busy with university, so progress is a bit slower.by ricky - Grand Prix 4
Well, ok, if you'll give me the graphics... What is necessairy to make it easier for me is if you describe each screen by something like this: BOX WITH DRIVERS NAME: TOP = SCREEN.HEIGHT - x*FONT_HEIGHT; BOTTOM = TOP + FONT_HEIGHT; LEFT = SCREEN.WIDTH / 5; RIGHT = LEFT + SCREEN.WIDTH / 5; If you'll do that, it would be easier for me. Nevertheless I'm currently working on fiby ricky - Grand Prix 4
Well, that might be caused by different image size. I didn't convert a tga into gpi, but I know the gpi format is very very simple (only stores RGBA value after value or in another order) and it doesn't contain size informations (or any further informations). Size is stored somewhere else in a GP4-file.by ricky - Grand Prix 4
