I remember the day I bought GP4, the game was just released and I was on summer holidays on Europe. I first played it in a Compaq Presario laptop with Windows XP that I took with me for the trip. I had to ran the game in low settings to get 30 fps, which was the standard at the time, and I loved it. The pit crew animations added a level or realism that was unseen in a racing game. With my f1graphics.cfg, apart of the flipping car texture problem, the cockpit LDC type mirrors won't show image, instead, some colored vertical lines. Have you thought on a sled-dog championship mod for GP4? In all seriousness, thanks for sharing, amazing job, great skills. One question: how to apply this to the cars.wad?by jfvm - Grand Prix 4

I tried changing Num overdraws for blur effects to 16 but that didn't alleviate the issue. Then, I tried what you showed in your screenshot: selecting the 1920 x 1080 in the screen resolution. That didn't alleviate the issue either. Is that what did you mean whby jfvm - Grand Prix 4

Another quality mod for GP4, really appreciate the effort the guys have put on this. One question, I noticed that colors in cars are flipping between plain white and the respective car team library, or small details in the car library are switching on/off constantly. I am using my f1config.cgf file below. Is there anything wrong with it? 1 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (deby jfvm - Grand Prix 4

For #2, it depends on the mod. I think the vanilla game will run ok at 1080, max settings on (non-gaming) laptops with modern quad-core's CPU's and discrete GPU's - remember GP4 vanilla uses CPU more that GPU. But there will be some mods - and I think the 1991 mod is one of them - that can be more demanding on GPU as the detail level of cars (number of polygons) and tracks isby jfvm - Grand Prix 4
What is the filename inside cars.wad that includes the textures of the front tyres that show up when the game view is set on T-CAM mode? (not in default cockpit)by jfvm - Grand Prix 4
