Thanks Shatonska, that helps a lot. For your info, I can add the Monaco locations. 556,557,558,559 and 806,807,808, 809by John52 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Korn Freak. That is exactly what I was looking for (well almost!). The zip file only contains the pitstall (garage) location. Do you or anybody else have similar data for the pitwall timing stands? Thanksby John52 - Grand Prix 4
Like many GP4 gamers I have created a fantasy team in the Arrows slot. I have done the car, cockpit, helmets, visors and pitcrew. All that is left is the Pit Stand and Garage stall at each track. Does any one know where this info. might be posted? i.e. the filenames of the Arrows pitstand/garage "page" Tex files for each track (in original GP4 pit order). p.s. I know the info is availaby John52 - Grand Prix 4
I looked at my GPXlap section and '"incarsetup" was NOT checked but it did give me a clue as to where to look. After checking the doc on GPXlap found that "SHIFT-L" is used to toggle the display on/off. Somehow when I install 3.50 this key must be turned on. I did a Shift-L and it is now gone.by John52 - Grand Prix 4
I just installed Gpxpatch 350. Now I get overlay info at the bottom of the screen with info such as tyre wear/plank board wear and brake bias settings. When I went back to Gpxpatch 333 the overlay screens went away. Where did this stuff come from? and more importantly how do I remove it. p.s. I am also running GP4Tweaker if that has anything to do with this.by John52 - Grand Prix 4
I have created a fantasy car using Gp4master and Paintshop Pro 6.0. The Tex file for my fantasy car was created using 512x512 TGA's even though I stored it as a "low_res" Tex file (I have deleted all the "hi_team" files from my cars.wad file. All the other team car tex files are based on the stock 256x256 tga's. Problem: when I run with the in game graphics texby John52 - Grand Prix 4
I have a PIII 533mhz with a Nvidia Geforce2 MX400 64MB With the default settings I get about 17-18 FPS. The game is playable, but every now and then I get a split second "freeze". Whenever I play with the f1graphics.cfg file as per suggestions in this forum, I can bump my FPS up into the 20's but the most noticeable effect is that several times a lap the steering wheel will vioby John52 - Grand Prix 4
I am working on a fantasy livery using the original Minardi carshape. What I have found is that on the "level 1" GP4 file the suspension components are not mapped correctly. They seem to pick up the texture from the side pod area in the TGA file (which in my case is now white). Using Zmodeler I have figured out how to import the GP4 file, how to isolate an individual object (e.g. rightby John52 - Grand Prix 4
Been developing some liveries, but it is pretty much trial and error re: mapping an area in the tga file to the carshape. I am using GPmaster and Zmodeler. I can import the carshape and apply the tga files to the shape but cannot find anything that would point me to specific coordinates. e.g. the coordinates where the suspension colour comes from. Is there another utility required to identify wby John52 - Grand Prix 4
I am trying to update Grid pictures using CSC4. I can import my TGA file but when I "Export" , nothing happens. I have the Beta4b version of CSC. I did upgrade GP4 to version 9.6 which means I have to point CSC to an old decrypted version of GP4. Could this be a problem? Where are the grid pictures stored anyway?by John52 - Grand Prix 4
Is there any way to change the colour of the wheel centres? e.g. Jaguar has gold wheels, I would like to put gold wheels on a fantasy car I have in the Minardi slot.by John52 - Grand Prix 4
