Congratulations to Alonso for winning surely the best GP since the Canadian GP last year....LOVE WET RACES!!!! To Sergio Perez..oh man, what a future you have in F1!! Honestly I really miss Robert Kubica not being in F1 but we have a replacement by God! And as Vader says, don't tell a driver to be careful and conserve the tyres...I reckon if his pit crew kept their mouth's shut, Peby Eagle - F1
As many have said, I see it a case of too little too late. Senna's death heralded sweeping change in cockpit safety in open wheel racing...thank heavens there haven't been further deaths in F1 since then (crosses fingers)...unfortunately the mindset of American racing is that they want to see oval track racing...they want to see faster cars on higher banked tracks designed for NASCAR..by Eagle - F1
Not sure if anyone has had a look at this AWESOME new F1 game yet, based on the teams and drivers for the 2010 season here is a link F1 2010 screenshots apparently being released on the 24th of September 2010, and based on the same graphics and physics engine as GRID heres a link to the official website : F1 2010 Official Home page not sure how the playability will be, or if itsby Eagle - Other Games
To all fellow GP4 modders and developers, I haven't posted anything on the forums for a while, but I've started to play the 1991 mod quite a bit, but just wondering if its possible to run say the 1991 cars on a modern F1 track, such as Shanghai, Istanbul, Sakhir, or any of the other new modern tracks. I've running CSM v1.26 and TSM but I can't really find instructions anyby Eagle - Grand Prix 4
WOOOHOOO HAMILTON!!!! One of the most dramatic finishes to a season I can remember...the last lap of the last race of the year... Reckon Hamilton will be buying Glock a beer after the race??by Eagle - F1
Don't know if anyone on the forum watched the Gold Coast Indy race from Australia, but let me be the first to congratulate one of Australia's best open wheel drivers, Ryan Briscoe who won today, finishing 0.5s from a fast finishing Scott Dixon. I do feel sorry that Will Power, who has started on pole 3 times in a row missed out on finishing the race, but I hope this elevates Briscoeby Eagle - Other Motorsports
I hope Sebastien Bordais pays tribute to the man in the Singapore GP...I can't see him putting a black nose cone on the Toro Rosso but if he wears a black arm band, then that's good enough for me. I'm going to support Bordais for this upcoming race...winner of many street races in his Champcar days...Toro Rosso on form thanks to Vettel's win in Monza...if anyone can get onby Eagle - Off-Topic
Defintely sad news...Paul Newman was one of the great actors, was one of the great philanthropists, a great contributor to many charities with his Newman's Own products, and also as a great reace team owner. One of Hollywood's legends has left us.... RIP Paul Newman....the Sundance Kid will have to go it alone now. I will remember the great man by watching The Sting and in one ofby Eagle - Off-Topic
YAY!! Can't wait for Singapore GP this weekend!! I've wanted to see a night Grand prix for about 24 odd years (how long I've been following F1) and now its on on the weekend on a brand new circuit. Wish it was on earlier though.....mind you, I'd like to see the final episode of Dexter beforehand...(if you're in Australia, and you watch channel 10 on a sunday night,by Eagle - F1
It really is a shame that Super-Duper Aguri is leaving the grid... Its kamakazi drivers like Takuma Sato that make the races interesting.... Again, its the little teams that get thrown by the wayside when it comes to huge F1 teams with bigger budgets...Prost, Stewart, Jordan & Minardi are 4 teams in recent years that have either packed up or been bought out by larger companies. Cheers aagancia didn't realise there were both nvidia and directx updates to speed up my pc...downloading and installing those now. 1280x1024, here i come!! pity i have a widescreen monitor, native res is 1680x1050...but the game just lags bad if i play it at that res...but i'll give it a try out after downloading the latest drivers thoughby Eagle - Other Games
Hi guys.. I just picked up a copy of Bioshock the other week...oh man, this game is the bomb....has suckered me in big time, but i don't have much time to play it in the day though. The only problem i have is that my pc (while fairly decent a year ago) doesn't seem to be able to run it at a decent speed. I'm just new to this thread and couldn't be arsed reading through all the posts...based on the subject of the thread, oh yeah, Ralf Schumacher is crap! During his days at Williams, where they provided him & Montoya with some decent hardware, he was pretty good. It might prove the theory that the driver is only as good as the car he drives. However, when he moved to Toyota,by Eagle - F1
*Updated* I agree with DaveEllis and Peat regarding "Senna"'s comments on Hamilton.. Raikkonen has had ample time (since 2001) to become World Championship...and his greatest chance was in 2003 (??) when he was driving for McLaren...he's a very VERY good driver, but he has not been as consistent as Hamilton over the course of 2007. Consistency is the key to getting WC pby Eagle - F1
I FEEL JUSTIFIED IN MY THREAD NOW!! HAMILTON FOR 2007 WORLD CHAMPION!!! (and hopefully also the Laureus breakthrough of the year award) all he has to do is effectively finish the Chinese GP in the points and he's got it won!by Eagle - F1
Yeah, I agree with DaveEllis....Ferrari's pit stop strategy regarding Massa's race was a complete shambles...I bet Ross Brawn would have been holding his head in his hands if he watched that strategy unfold... BUT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT!! for Hamilton!!! I've created a few posts in recent months about Hamilton...and if he's the REAL DEAL and 2007 WC predictions...baby Eagle - F1
OK, so theres 3 rounds left in the Championship...the Constructors is already decided...the drivers go off to a brand new circuit in Japan...with Ferrari on the rise, and Kimi driving especially well in Belgium and is making a welcome resurgence up the standings ladder, what's the prediction for the 07 title? w00t!! been 2 years, finally F1 racing returns to Spa!! Is it just me, or according to that track map, they've changed the pit entry again at the bus stop chicane?? Interesting to see if the drivers will take advantage of the braking area at the end of Blanchemont. What's the odds it will be a crazy race again? Mikey, if you're looking at getting a PSP, either get one from eBay thats firmware 1.5 compatible, or try and get one with firmware 2.80 or below, that can be hacked and then install 3.03 OE-C firmware which allows you to do the same stuff mine can. is a good place to start for all your homebrew needs. I've got a PSP, and once you've got custom firmware in it (I've got 3.03 OE-C, created by Dark_Alex) which allows you to run homebrew applications, it basically becomes a mini-pc. For any of those out there who still tune into WWE every now and then, "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit, one of WWE's most talented wrestlers/entertainers, has been found dead in his home (along with his wife and son) in an apparent murder suicide. What an incredible race!!!! Funny that in some cases that some F1 drivers that score maiden victories do that under exceptional circumstances...thinking of Button in Hungary last year and Fisichella in Brazil back in 2003(?)....but Lewis was a class act...it was like nothing seemed to faze him and there was the usual carnage going on behind him for some of the race... Lewis has got 4 podiums in 4 races, and leads the 2007 F1 Championship...IN HIS ROOKIE YEAR!!...and the next race is Monaco.... If consistency is the major factor (whether he wins a race in 2007 or not) I would have to say the man has every indication that he can be WC either this year or next year. Hey! Lewis Hamilton is the best thing that ever happened to F1 in a LONNNGGG time....even the great Schumacher didn't have such a good start with Jordan/Benetton. Give him his dues...Ron Dennis is on a winner with Hamilton...he'll be with McLaren for YEARS!!!by Eagle - F1
Hey guys...just something to ponder... After seeing the first 3 races, I am VERY impressed with the driving skills of Lewis Hamilton. I have never seen a rookie with as much car control in recent years(even Jacques Villeneuve had a background in ChampCars before F1) as Lewis. Now, an argument could be made about how much better the new 2007 McLaren is over the 2006 model, but I daresay that thby Eagle - F1
