There once was a game called GP4 That featured physics like never before The player spun round He punched the ground And now the game's an "18+, gore"by flat tyre - Off-Topic

5 laps round the LRC for that monstrosity Were these from the site redesign in, what, 2006-ish? I don't remember these being made... but it still shows why (prepare for soppy) I love this place over every other.by flat tyre - Off-Topic
Aren't you worried at how they found out your home address? Seriously, though, that's enviable... nicely done!by flat tyre - Off-Topic
Thanks, Gav, I've taken a good look at all of it and it seems pretty good to me. I think 120GB would be more than enough for me, so I'll be going for the SSD instead. Appreciate the time you put into that! Connor, cheers for that, as you've probably guessed I'm looking more at Gav's setup but yours has definitely opened my oh-so-narrow mind a bit more :pby flat tyre - Off-Topic
Some of these sound embarrasingly bad, but it does make you wonder - where would some of these minnows be with a decent engine? From what I can remember, the Honda engines during the early 2000s were by far the most unreliable (although they were pretty quick). I can remember countless occasions where a Honda powered car would be running well in the top 6 or maybe top 3, and then... bang. Andby flat tyre - F1
Surely it'll be be Max Chilton in the 2nd Marussia? I'd expect di Resta at FI (although if it was up to me he'd be out) along with... errm, Alguersuari?by flat tyre - F1
Cheers, Gav. I don't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse. Ideally it'll be no more than £400-500 but if that's not possible then that's ok.by flat tyre - Off-Topic
After googling pics of the 2001 Benetton, I found this: Jenson Button? Nah, he's a lazy playboy (says Flavio Briatore) Giancarlo Fisichella? He hasn't won a single race. Fernando Alonso? He's barely an adult! Mark Webber? Not a single GP start to his name. At the time, this driver line-up was hardly eye catching. But, looking at it now... three of these drivers are big,by flat tyre - F1

My brother had the PS2 game, and I borrowed it because I wanted to cause mega crashes this was before I cared about F1. He is a brilliant commentator which, to be quite frank, took me completely by surprise. When he was announced as a commentator at the beginning of 2011, I thought that he'd be cringeworthy. I could picture him being a bit nervous and hesitant to say anything, much like when he first started as a pundit. And that's not to mention his thick accent not exactly lending itself to commentaryby flat tyre - F1
I'm going to be boring and say that I don't want some uber-powerful machine that's going to blow my socks off. All I want is something that'll run a racing sim smoothly and reliably - probably rFactor 2 or iRacing, or anything with a good community. I'm good at taking PCs apart and tinkering around with them, but I'm completely hopeless when it comes to understandby flat tyre - Off-Topic
Glad I'm not the only one who thought like that! "presented by Bernie Ecclestone at the 2012 FIA Prize Giving Ceremony" Couldn't get much more cliche than that for a political award...by flat tyre - F1
!! Knock knock. Who's there? Your mum. Your mum who? Your mum who's genes you inherited are made from a long molecule called DNA, which is copied and inherited across generations. DNA is made of simple units that line up in a particular order within this large molecule. The order of these units carries genetic information, similar to how the order of letters on a pagby flat tyre - Off-Topic
Seeing as you're doing an MA in Journalism, what I have to say might be stating the obvious to you! But, I will say it anyway just in case it helps At first, I believed the hype that the media was creating - I was genuinely worried at one point that something might happen, and I was half expecting some kind of rebellion during the race. It even appeared that the teams themselves were wby flat tyre - F1
I remember it, too... wasn't the first race at Kyalami shown on the BBC, then after that... nothing? I remember wanting to watch the rest of the races, but wondering what happened to it.by flat tyre - F1

I almost wish that they had a steward for each driver - each one watching their driver's onboard camera throughout the race. If they spot anything suspicious, they could pass it on to the panel, who would then decide if it was illegal or not. I'm sure they could afford it, and it would end all of these arguements and uncertainity! EDIT: it would help in qualifying, too. There woulby flat tyre - F1
This is something that has been on my mind whilst watching F1, too. I started watching in 2002 (a lot more recent I know), and every year I've checked to see how many of the names on the 02 grid are still driving today. I still play and love F1 2002, and the names on there still feel like the 'real' F1 drivers to me. I checked just now, and one thing that shocked me - Button isby flat tyre - F1
Hamilton and Alonso have been in a class of their own this year! Both have been faultless, as far as I can remember, and also the quickest in the field. Honourable mentions to Raikkonen (very, very consistent and still has what it takes), Hulkenburg (maybe not a future champion but definitely has potential), Pic (not many of us noticed but he did very well in his rookie season)by flat tyre - F1
Just watched the race - I was out all day yesterday - and wow! Just when you thought it was over, something else gets thrown into the ring! Hulkenburg really impressed me, and again I think it just shows how average di Resta is. It reminds me of when you used to read about Hulkenburg in the news when he was in A1GP - he always made headlines for dominating and being in a class of his own. Thisby flat tyre - F1
I thought I'd have a vague idea of what was ton expect in the race, after watching qualifying - but I still don't have a clue! The championship feels wide open to me. I don't want to tempt fate, but I've got this sneaking suspicion that Vettel will crack under the pressure and Alonso will be racing the clock to get enough points... shame that Maldonando got his penalty, I wby flat tyre - F1
Just checked the weather forecast... and what can I say? It's not another case of f1.com playing it's usual tricks and predicting rain for every race, then it ends up being sunny all weekend. I think it might actually tip it down in Brazil! Saturday: Some sites say rain/thunder, some sites say sunny. A mixed bag. Sunday: Every site I visited said it was going to rain... some saidby flat tyre - F1

I'm holding back on any guesses for the championship - back in around Monaco I was convinced that Webber would be a contender! I know I'm in the minority here but I'm in love with the Korean track. Disappointed but not surprised tbh, it felt to me like he'd lost the fire in his belly the last few months... It's a crying shame, because he's driving so so well at the moment, and just seeing the name 'Schumacher' on the screens is enough to make a race more exciting! He adds so much to F1. At least he got a podium and a (kind of) pole, but I can't help but feelby flat tyre - F1
