That has got to be one of the most weird, mentally knackering, yet brilliant, races I've ever seen! That's the first time I thought since Brazil 2007 that I thought "Bernie's pressed his magic button," when I saw that both Mercs had a problem at the same time. All 5 of the top runners in the last few laps were so incredibly hungry to win, you could see it. Brilliant. Justby flat tyre - F1
...and CHILTON goes fastest in the post race test?! Has the world turned upside down? I'm not normally one to take notice of unusual testing times, but this has just come out of the blue. He was three seconds faster than his qualifying time from must just a couple of days ago. If this is legitimate, I'm stunned. I was thinking he might have been running an illegal car, but I thoughtby flat tyre - F1
I remember Webber having a go at Red Bull after their first race, saying that they only got a good result "because they had Pitchy's car." He only went on to re-join that team two years later.by flat tyre - F1

Exactly my thoughts, this could be a titanic year. There's so little to choose between Hamilton and Rosberg, that I think this may well go down to the wire. What Hamilton gaby flat tyre - F1

Pat on the back to Paddy Lowe (in fact all of the Mercedes prat perch), because if I was them I would've ordered a stop to the fight a long LONG time ago!! It was also great to see Lewis and Nico being good humoured about it, when they got out of their cars. I half expected them to be frosty afterwards. Top notch driving from everyone... well, except for a certain Pasta. Surprise surprby flat tyre - F1
I wonder how much of it has got to do with the sound system people are using? Most TVs don't exactly come with top-of-the-range speakers, and the new engines are obviously lower in frequency. It's these sounds that cheaper speakers struggle to put out, which might explain the quieter sound. I always thought the V8s sounded nice in real life, but dodgy on TV - like a wasp. I normally wouldn't speculate and take a lot of notice of pictures like this, but... honestly, they look under just as much pressure as they did during Jerez testing. My spidey sense tells me that they don't know what's going to happen this weekend.by flat tyre - F1
Oh wow, that might make the McLaren look similar to the West livery they had in the early 2000s. Now that would be a welcome sight!by flat tyre - F1
That picture could almost be straight from the 70s. They should bring back those garlands for the podium finishers.by flat tyre - F1
I'm in! I get the feeling that this year will be a mega, both on track AND in our manager league Team: Mild Seven Renaultby flat tyre - F1
On a slightly different note - and I know this might be far too premature - but I wonder what will happen to the Russian GP in light of what's been going on in Crimea? I can't imagine anybody being too keen on the idea of going there if things escalate. Mind you, if they went to the Bahrain GP a couple of years ago...by flat tyre - F1
I just came across this video of Jackie Stewart taking us through all of the controls available to the driver in a 1986 car. Now, if you are anything like me, you thought cockpits were far simpler back in those days. Pure driving and all that. Well... just take a look at this. I hear lot of people saying that today's steering wheels have "too many buttons". Well, maybe the kby flat tyre - F1

Vader - it just goes to show how image-obsessed modern people are. I can hold myself guilty to that. Frantic - That's a good comparison, actually. But I wonder how many people will be hoping for what happened to Ferrari in 1980 to happen to Red Bull this year? can't believe I'm saying this, but I wouldn't mind another year of Red Bull stealing the show, so Ricciardo can thby flat tyre - F1
I almost feel like I'm looking at Schumacher in an early-2000s Ferrari when I see Raikkonen in the F14T. It's blatantly obvious that none of the drivers are pushing yet, but you can already see how difficult they are to drive! Also, it's good to note that cars with the same engine sound totally different - compare the Toro Rosso and the Caterham. The Toro Rosso sounds like puby flat tyre - F1
Heh, I see what you mean, but I think it's just the flash. As much as I said I disliked the Ferrari before, when it's out on track... wow, it looks aggressive. In other news... I think I have a new all-time favourite looking car this is just freaking awesome!by flat tyre - F1
It's funny how everyone on this forum has such difference in opinion on this year's cars. I really don't mind the McLaren and Williams... but the Lotus and the Ferrari? Bleugh! It's not often that I don't like a car (especially a Ferrari), but unfortunately this is one of those times! A bit of a girly comparison, maybe, but the Ferrari nose reminds me a lot of a dolphiby flat tyre - F1

I can't believe how this has just come out of the blue. He seemed to be in good health and good spirits, travelling the world with Jenson to each and every race, and seemed happiest out of just about everyone when results came their way... I didn't expect to hear anything like this soon. RIP John Button, from just another normal person on the internet - we may not have known you personaby flat tyre - F1

I don't think it's any more gimmicky than the rule they had during the Prost-Senna era, where some of your races weren't included in your final points tally. I can see why people don't like this rule, but I'm quite looking forward to it actually... And, if Jean Todt was "still biased", then he wouldn't have let Pirelli change the tyres mid-season thisby flat tyre - F1
Amazing. That's everything we could've ever hoped for from this new engine. When it was first announced, I genuinely believed for that they would sound good, but I guess everyone else's negativity got to me and I resigned myself to thinking that it would sound feeble. Thanks for sharing that, Gav. Nice to be proven wrong.by flat tyre - F1
All somebody needs to do now is give Alonso long white hair :p EC83 - aha, maybe that's what I was thinking of? It would be interesting to hear some of those, if you can remember them. Sauber need to get a better simulatorby flat tyre - F1

I saw someone do something like this somewhere else (can't remember where, I'm afraid!), but I just put these together using the pics on f1.com. When I saw the interview with Bottas after the race, where he praised the team, I couldn't help thinking that it was a subtle dig at Maldonado after what he said yesterday if so, then I think he deserves a pat on the back!by flat tyre - F1
