And Patrese. Patrese in 1992.by Laton - F1
Sauber are still impressing me. With all the money troubles and legal wrangling and two rookies, how they've managed to produce such a tidy package after that shitbox they rolled up with at Melbourne last year is nothing short of astounding. Bit of Button brain-fade there. Braking problems? Sure thing Pastor. Sour grapes from Rosberg. He knows if he gets beaten this year his careerby Laton - F1
What? No thread yet? Sauber have done well!by Laton - F1
Because its Mclaren and Honda, RIGHTZ? WHHEEEEYY! it's a somewhat romantic notion I think..by Laton - F1
Wish people would be careful what they wish for. I can't be the only person happy to see Ferrari and Vettel not winning anything for a while Ferrari Schuey dominance killed the sport in the early 00s, guys we do NOT want a return to that. Red Bull was worrying enough. The Merc dominance has been refreshing. Anyway, hope Mclaren can get more performance out of their car.by Laton - F1
Breaking news, Christian Horner now wants Ferrari, Williams and STR reigned in too. And Mclaren, because they weren't quite @#$%& enough for his liking today. Why don't we just give everyone a Red Bull?by Laton - F1
I think this is the Golden Age over for Red Bull tbh. I'd love to see a proper Renault team again though, a yellow one with black bits. That car from a few years back looked awesome. Horner can @#$%& off. He's just as much the petulant child that Seb Vet was when he wasn't winning. Equalise the grid indeed. LOL!by Laton - F1
Oh dear. Mercedes - oh dear. Mclaren - oh dear. Red Bull are nowhere. Force India are nowhere. Lotus and Toro Rosso impressed me. But oh dear.by Laton - F1
The one thing I don't understand is that FOUR DAYS after the accident, Dennis gave an interview where he stated there had been NO CONCUSSION. At that point him and the rest of the world knew that it had in fact been a serous concussion. So, why did he say that? Ron's been around long enough not to make silly mistakes like that and should know better than to lie to the media.by Laton - F1

Force India put too many resources into last year, and have little left for this year. Where other teams will have made strides, Force India will have stood still. Plus, I think Mallya is losing interest. Their days are numbered, all too common a story with rich folk dallying in F1. Meh. We need teams who are able to manage themselves effectively when they're not winning. Preby Laton - F1
There are rumours that the Mclaren livery is interim only and there will be a new one at the first testby Laton - F1
Am I the only one who dislikes the Ferrari? It's tacky, the black looks cool but not the shape of the border they've made with it. And the nose.. wtf? It's UGLIER than last year. Mclaren --> Mercedes --> Lotus --> Sauber --> Force India --> Ferrari so farby Laton - F1
Aw come on the red is much more prominent, and on the mirrors now too..by Laton - F1
Would have preferred white over silver but that is aggressive and beautiful.by Laton - F1
That's lovely! Just as long as it doesn't look too much like a MidlandSpyker on track. QUESTION: why have we still got these @#$%& stupid penis noses?by Laton - F1
It's a bollocksy rule anyway. If they don't want to race longer than two hours they should drive faster :Pby Laton - F1
Cracking looking car though. I knew the name was there but if you didn't already know it, you can't read it. Your turn, dawg!by Laton - F1
I hope the McLaren Honda is red and white.by Laton - F1
So who's this? :P And technically speaking, that is an F1 car.by Laton - F1
Is that Norberto Fontana, circa 1997ish??by Laton - F1
Ok, let's see how many old pics people can guess. Rules - post either a picture of an obscure F1 driver, or a better known driver when they were really young. TRY NOT TO CHEAT BY READING LINK TITLES, NO GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCHING. Rules - they must have raced in an actual GP, testing and practice sessions do not count. Rules - they must be F1 drivers Rules - they must not be wearing aby Laton - F1
To me, even watching reviews if years like 1992 and 1993 (which I saw for real the first time around but I was very young) the cars looked far harder to drive, broke down more often and the whole thing was generally more entertaining than what it is now. And the cars were sexy.by Laton - F1
Big sticky slicks. V10s. Customer cars (F1 needs shi**y privateers). Estoril. Low, unstepped noses. "Musical chairs" rule as discussed above. Imola. Ban on Santander trophies. Non championship races in exotic places. Jean Alesi. Maybe even V12s. More engine suppliers. Laguna Seca. What else?by Laton - F1
Haha. The sprinklers are preposterous though. Just think, mid 00's how many people would oppose my rule? Not many. EDIT: what's interesting is that we have different opinions on how bad single team or driver dominance is for the sport. Very bad, in my opinion, and I know it has to be a free market and you can't penalise success bla bla but... it would mix things up.by Laton - F1
Here's a rule they should implement which would actually improve the spectacle and cease cessation of the driver market: Each driver cannot drive for the same team for more than three seasons. And, each team cannot keep the same driver lineup for more than two seasons. I am a genius. Put me in charge.by Laton - F1
"A big F1 team who says we shouldn't bring bananas to a gun fight grabs the money and cheats on the regulations" - Vijay Mallya. And it's true. I'm sick of Christian and his BS. He's now pushing for new engines in 2016. Sorest loser ever. Grow a pair.by Laton - F1
Martin sounds rough today. He's nearly as bad as me although I can't speak. Those who know me say that this is no bad thing. "There are worse jobs in life" ... hahaha.by Laton - F1
I think it looks amazing! Should certainly be interesting. The old town bit looks stupidly tight....by Laton - F1
There was no SC needed for Alonso in Malaysia because it was on lap 1, rest of the field had already gone through and there were no cars to go off on that corner.by Laton - F1
