i am a lonely commentator for this thread, but i am sure some look. this following video shows the real state of Robert Kubica, and the real damage, after 19 months away. Today he aknowledged that his right hand will never be 100%, but is still progressing. Kubica stressed that these rally entries are just another part in the rehabilitation process. In the video you can see how he holdby kubica2 - F1
Morbid has lost the plot. i started this thread to show how 2 different drivers at mclaren, next we have people bringing up crap about alonso from years ago in an incident he wasnt involved in?? morbids oppinion is no better then anyone else, an oppinion does not need substantiating, that is just you being selfish, and not being able to take an oppinion - varied oppinion happens on every forumby kubica2 - F1
here is kubicas subaru today!: and here he is today: [3.bp.blogspot.com] [3.bp.blogspot.com] [3.bp.blogspot.com] [4.bp.blogspot.com] entry list with him name now: He aims to return to F1 in 2014:by kubica2 - F1

he still does not want the media attention but. here is the start list for the rally this weekend. notice car number 3. Drivers name is Andrea Crugnola. Crugnola has nothing to do with First Motorsport, and does not drive the Subaru WRC. Kubica has previously tested in Rally also where the car was listed as Crugnola. Crugnola has never raced with the listed co-driver, while Kubica has.by kubica2 - F1
Hi, most of you probably read about Kubicas secret rally test in a Ford WRC with the 2 factory drivers. It has also been said on a few sites that one more operation is planned (possibly cosmetic), or it was old news relating to the recent elbow surgery. In the past few days there have been rumours Kubica will start a race for the first time next week, and yesterday on italian websites itby kubica2 - F1
Marcl, yes button has had a form slump. and i know hamilton has been faster, but that point statistic just shows that speed is not everything, you have to be consistent too (for istance, hamilton cosistenly has a run of incidents in each season at races he should be winning), and also in this modern f1, unlike say 10 years ago, tyre care is more vital. So i pointed out, 2 completely different driby kubica2 - F1
well, after 50 races at mclaren, Button finally got a pole position, while hamilton has had so many more. the interesting think but, i have calculated that the amount of points the 2 drivers have scored is lewis 584 to jenson 583 in the 50 races. just 1 point difference. Make what you want of it, just an interesting stat, to me it shows hamilton is fast in qualifying, but button is better in raceby kubica2 - F1
Kubica was at the funeral of the "2" drivers that past away it was reported today. what a way to go. in their 3rd ever rally, they fall into a hole on the side of the road, their car catches fire and the driver and co driver can not open the doors because of the way the car is laying in the hole, and they burn to death. here is a photo of the funeral:by kubica2 - F1
pretty lame writing "Xaxa" = cyrillic (russian) version of "haha" to be a smartarse, and then to also use a 4 month old article which made sencse at the time. havent you got anything better to do with your life? what are you laughing at? i guess you hate Jenson Button? so what??by kubica2 - F1
kubica photographed a couple of days ago at a rally by a Polish fan and uploaded to twitter: [24.media.tumblr.com] [25.media.tumblr.com] she later removed all info about photos from twitter, she said on twitter he was walking normally, acting normally, driving a car normally, but when asked to do a photograph he made sure to hide his right hand. He was in good spirit. to me hiding his hand frby kubica2 - F1
we will let his results do the speaking, and in the last few races there has been a steady improvement, with some bad luck thrown in. massas form after the accident wasnt as bad as it has been recently, so i dont think the accident changed his performance that much, as it would have been instantly bad. i would not be surprised to see his improvement in form continue, this is usually what happensby kubica2 - F1
i think we are seeing in modern f1, that setup could well be the devil to a drivers form and put you in a hole for a long time. fisichella couldnt drive a ferrari at all, massa fell into a heap - but looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel, schumacher couldnt do anything in a mercedes for a season and a half, and now Button has hit the hole, and could take a long time to recover alsoby kubica2 - F1
guys have a look at this 2 photos, they are eerily similar crashes to kubicas rally crash. this was a week or so ago i believe, look at the driver standing uninjured next to his guardrail impaled car! and today we had the sad news that a 24year old co-driver in IRC has died in a crash where the car was again impaled by a guard rail i think its time they did something about the expby kubica2 - F1
what i am taking as a possitive at the moment with regards to kubica, is that the first racing cars he has jumped into after a terrible rally accident, are rally cars. shows he has not been scared off from the sport by the accident. and also that he has chosen to have that new surgery, he could have decided enough is enough - but he chose another surgery to try to reach his goal of a comeback. aby kubica2 - F1

hamilton would be dumb to blame mclarens cock-ups for his chances and head to another team. he has literally cost mclaren championships in the past with his errors in 2007 and 2011 and nearly in 2008 and not playing the team game in 2007. the team has made some errors in pitstops, but it is a teamsport, and how many times has hamilton acted like he is more important then the team with his scathinby kubica2 - F1
was interesting during the thursday in qualifying, the mclaren is built so low, that button was complaining about visibility over the team radio, hw couldnt seem the apexes.by kubica2 - F1
Well in the last few weeks in Italian and Polish media, there have been several editorial oppinions in stating no news from Kubica means there is no hope for a comeback. Then there was a video interview with Cezary Gutowski for Polish sport.f1 site in which he said Kubica has had another operation on his elbow, and Gutowski spoke to people in the paddock in Monaco and thinks 3 or 4 teams areby kubica2 - F1

now he has been captured go karting, (but apparently only did 3 laps?) (With photos!) the western f1 sites only every copy info from themselves so will be slow to pick this up. planet-f1.com only today picked up the news of kubica driving the skoda rally car.by kubica2 - F1
Alguesari says he has heard that kubica cant hold a glass in his hand: But also reported is that kubica is testing a wrc class rally car maybe driving a rally car first is better for the psychology, to face any fears he may have at driving 100% a friend of his was quoted on autosport (i think it was) a couple of days ago saying kubica will make a decision in june/july to test oby kubica2 - F1
i think it will be the same as last year, red bull in front with perfect driver vettel - fast and consistent, mclaren nipping at their heals, and often faster - but hamilton will choke again or use his tyres too fast, and button will still not be fast enough, and will rely on battling through the field for podiums as he will qualify too far back. ferrari will be 3rd again with alonso bringing inby kubica2 - F1
actually just reading vettels interview it was a wing failure after he ran off the track. but on some live timing sites they said it was a new wing! or maybe i am still wrong?by kubica2 - F1

who watches f1 for how attractive the cars look? what has kept f1 cars looking good for f1 fans for the last 15 years is the mental aspect of viewing the cars as the fastest race cars in the world. they will get over this new change just like they did after they changed to a narrow track in 1998 and when they changed to higher and narrower rear wings a few years ago. during both those years, i alby kubica2 - F1
i love the back ends on the renault and red bull cars, so tight and small compared to the fat arse mclaren. must be due to the renault engine. it will probably be the same story as last few years, redbull fastest because of best aerodynamics, mclaren next best - but mainly due to mercedes engine and kers advantage. very interesting design on the stepped nose on the redbull, some sort of venby kubica2 - F1
