eww, you got the horrible version of the 1994 sauber. Here is a better one: For other good pictures of it, check your gp2 manualby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 4
I downloaded a priority fix (it does the change automatically, so you don't have to dl compatability manager). You can get it here if you want: It didn't help at all though. Here is an update of the current situation (copied from my post in another forum, but no replies there anyway ): Thought I may as well post this here as the RC sites are either down or their forums are morby Daniel Knott - Off-Topic

hmm I should probably see what all this Grand Prix Legends fuss is about :D Yer, I'll be using it for rally and possibably need for speed before it went crap (4, road challenge. Also is the porche one good). NFS is a bit too arcadey, but it is still only really the only game with that type of cras :D I have NFS2 SE with an XJ220 too :D but its rather an old even more arcadey game. I've never really seen the appeal of nascar - I mean it's just a big oval O_o It just appears to me to be too easy in terms of track driving (though the avoiding other cars might take skill) and all about using dirty tactics to crash out cars in your way - Schumnacher would do well in it then I admit this is probably an ignorant thing to say though.by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 4

@Dave cheers for info yer up down shift will ahve to do :D I saw that act labs thing before but it's probably not really worth it. You can also get a clutch but not many games support it (gp3 and 4 do though :D as you can see in the setup of your device - strange as i wouldn not have thought there would have thought clutch would be automatic in f1?). I know what i'm getting for chriby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 4
Cheers dave ooh eclipse is right near me. I dind't know they did wheels. It seems really hard ot find pads and wheels on the internet :D How will I know if I get the old version or not? Also, what is the gear stick like (I am so glad you can move it to the left side ). Is it a simple up/down job? Or can you move it properly like a real one?by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 4
@ Hernan, what so driver skill relates to grip? I am not actually 100% sure if I ahve a special new 98 cockpit I just assumed I did as someone said this one was based on the default one. I will ahve a look for you later Is that those 1994 and 1988 cockpits that you were working one (or around that era) ?by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3

np. Controller still wont work - it seems to not pick it up when I go into the "configure your controller" menu - it doesnt really pick up the inputs. I think if you wait and hold them down for ages it picks up the buttons, but it wont pick up the analogue and seems to randomly assign them to buttons I think there was a faq about the priority of it being a problem? What steering wheel should I get? Ages ago I looked at this one: and now I have seen this one: What is best, and do you ahve any other suggestions? Also, do you have any idea on prices and also where to get them? The f1 one may not be a brilliant choice though, as it is only really for f1? BTW, how do the gear sticks work on wheels? Are they just crap and up and down, or areby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 4

Does anyone know how to set up a wheel for this or an analogue pad? I have a Thrustmaster Dual Power 3 but I don't know what axis the game uses. WHenever I try to set it up in game, it is really strange and won't respond to the anlogue axis, only if I set it to "wheel" I cant remember if it works with wheel with 2 or 3 axis? but anyway, even then it doesn't work properby Daniel Knott - Off-Topic
Hmm you can change the grip? How do you do this? BTW, I am using the 1998 patch cockpit so that probably why I thought your one was weird :Dby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Now if only I didn't have windows XP I may be able to get a good PO at the start then, instead of 200 odd or maybe worse, 300 - 400 if rainingby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
erm I dled it and I don't like the new cockpit, so got rid of that :D - didn't seem right, also I tihnk it is for a 2004 carshape? Also, the grip thing er it was weird - it didn't seem to do much. I think the turning circle was reduced a bit, but the car seemed more stable. It could be my imagination though. It didn't really seem to do anything, I was getting the same lapby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
