Going by Buttons and Massa's comments, I reckon 2013 will be as close as ever. I can't see RBR having an advantage anymore, and Ferrari looked to have done so much work on that car. IMO it is the most different looking car, compared to it's predecessor. That's only a good thing surely? So far so good for JB. If the car is comfortable from the go then its a positive.by chet - F1
Best looking car in a long while. I love it! Completely love it! I doubt anything this year will look as good as that. Well done Sauber. I hope they are back on the up! Last year was sensational, and honestly bagging Hulk is huge! IMO a chunk or two more talented than either Kobayashi () and Perez. If the car is as competitive as it was last year I reckon Hulk will upset more than a few of the toby chet - F1

I would say Hamiltons luck this year has skewed the results. Lewis has been MEGA this year. Still, JB went through a rough patch so does it balance? Either way, never expected JB to top him in total points. The pole difference, expected. I said it all along JB would never out qualify Lewis. Win difference, 2 wins over 3 seasons. That's because Lewis is better, more often. Stilby chet - F1
Appreciate the info Gav and guys! I'll try it later. I've got the option of getting a house mate to restart the program for me. Also, just popped in to say JB'S ON IT :D!! If JB can beat Lewis in qualifying, and tomorrow fair and square I will be absolutely delighted! He needs to prove he can beat Lewis, so far in 2012 he has not even been close. (bar Spa :p).by chet - F1
Guys. An opportunity came way, on Sunday doing some overtime work. ATM being a contractor, overtime pays out... well. Very well. So I thought i'd be a fool to miss out. Still, this means ill be missing the race. Or at least the first 45 mins. So my idea is to miss the race entirely, lock myself in my room and stay away from any news, but my question is, how long is this necessary??by chet - F1
I've been thinking hard about this... It really has become so hard to chose between Vettel, Lewis, Alonso and Kimi! Arguably, in fact no doubt f1's best drivers, and surely all in a list of top 12 drivers of all time? Kimi, two years out has been simply amazing. Outpaced at first but Grosjeans speed wasn't enough to get him out of the first corner without crashing into somebby chet - F1
Perfect result for Brazil would be.. 1) Massa 2) Senna 3) Alonso 4) Who cares 24) Vettel. Perfect. Massa back to form is amazing to see! He looks so much happier too. I really don't want Vettel to win this again. JV's words on him a few weeks back were true (as ever). Plus his swearing on the podium was surely only due to Kimi doing it? Just doesn't like to get out dby chet - F1

Isn't the race being ran at the same time as NASCAR? Well, that's me split screening.by chet - F1
If they go, would they really be a loss? They're running round in a car based off a concept conceived in 2008 ffs. The team is a joke. 'Just' surviving stopped being cute a while back. Have they ever tested a new car before coming to the first race? There's a big difference between them and Marussia nad Caterham. If HRT disappear I wouldn't even notice or caby chet - F1
Im sure you know how jealous I am of this opportunity Dan :p.by chet - F1
When it was obvious Lewis was leaving, there should have been only one man on Mclarens list. Kimi. Why on earth they did not offer him the heavens to get him to drive their car is beyond me. He has out performed almost everyone this season after a year out. He has been upto Alonso's level of consistency. Kimi in a Mclaren was amazing. Perez, I've said it before adn ill say it aby chet - F1
I think Martin nailed it when he said these are things you should not have to learn. They should be instinctive as a racing driver. He did it GP2, he's still doing it. I like the guy, I massively under rated him from 2009. I think he's quick, i think he's Lewis/Vettel mega quick! But will, or can he change? I am not sure. Of course htere is nothing malicious in what he does,by chet - F1

Isaint - Off topic, but Lewis's championship is about all he could have achieved with what he's been given. Be fair. In his rookie year he lost to Kimi by a point, and by virtue of more 2nd places beat Alonso. In 2009 he had a shite car. In 2010 the RBR was a rocket ship but unreliable. The fact that Lewis was still in the fight by Abu Dhabi was a HUGE show of his talent. 2011..nby chet - F1
I think he was and is good and certainly worthy of his feats. Last year I would have said he was not 'that' great but still obviously a great. This year, the points do not suggest but he has been consistently quicker than Nico IMO and his pole at Monaco was something spectacular. Of all tracks to get pole he did it there. After 2009 you wouldn't be crazy to say the team withby chet - F1
What's also ironic is that Eddie Jordan spilled the beans on Schumachers return, AND on Lewis replacing him, and by extension, possibly Schumachers 2nd retirement :pby chet - F1
I think Mercedes's route of getting some big names in the team might end up as being a bad thing. Too many cooks in the kitchen? I have zero faith that they will provide a top car. Okay, the start of 2012 looked good, looked very good but they have had issues with tyres, development which have been a constant problem for that team. Paying out £20mil for another driver will not change thby chet - F1
There are only two winners. (or 3 if you include us!) Mercedes, and Perez. Mercedes have bagged themselves F1's quickest driver. Perez has bagged himself a top seat. Possible losers? Schumacher, Lewis, Button and Mclaren IMO. Schumacher could retire (again)? Button has the risk of losing to Perez Lewis has the risk of not getting a WDC opportunity whilst at the team. Lewis has ruined all expectations for driving for a top team. If he can compete with Alonso in his first year, then Perez who arguably has a hell of a lot of talent can compete after 2 years experience. Maybe not as close as Lewis did but surely be strong. Fact is, any rookie who wants to consider themselves a future champ have two drivers to look at. Lewis and Vettel. From the go, both werby chet - F1
Effectively translate to; Alonso's drive in a Ferrari was AWESOME from 10th on the grid.... But wait. Perez in a CUSTOMER Ferrari with a team who has never won a GP went from p13th to 2nd whilst not only making the 2 x WDC's drive look average, he prevented a double Ferrari podium. At least thats how I read it. Saying Perez is too inexperienced is complete... Well I cantby chet - F1
Good race. Best part? Horners face. I've got to say Button's retirement was entirely made up for by RedBull having a shite day and Perez and Sauber showing up Ferrari on their home turf. Ironically Perez is likely to be the tifosi's new hero in the years to come! Lewis controlled the race as easy as Button did at Spa. Such a shame we lost JB because it would have beenby chet - F1
The gap today was slightly favouring of Button. Lewis's lap was not clean, plus Jense got the tow from Vettel.... Still nice to see them both up there. Tomorrow will be interesting, naturally I would favour Button for the race. Let's see how T1 goes though.by chet - F1
