Hi Vader! I just thought that I would try helping, like we did in the old days on the old forum (or the Archiv as rumour has it, it likes to be called these days). I can see that you, thought that you would do the same for Janne Mikkonen. for the good old days, when olour was something you drank, the dark side ruled supreme, and time was something spent in abundance on the forum like there waby Morbid - Grand Prix 3
Hmmm, lets see... quote: "Who has the best overall carsetup & where can I find it? I am finding it difficult to find a good car setup." The best setup depends on a whole lot of different things, like the car you are driving, the track, weather, position on the grid/pit strategy, and of course your individual driving style. No two drivers drive the exact same way, and the same cby Morbid - Grand Prix 3
No. Not as far as I know anyway. But take it from me, without any driving aids or keyboard steering help, you will NOT be able to control the car with your keyboard. I would suggest switching to a gamepad, joystick or preferably a wheel.by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
Are you using win98, ME, 2000 or XP?by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
There is a DirectX remover freely available on various sites. If you really want to be rid of v8.1, it can be done with relative ease.by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
This has been subject to much discussion on the old forum, that which is now called the archive. Generally, in the discussions there have been during the last 9 months or so here, people seem to prefer the MS wheels, with FF being optional, depending on whether or not you like such effects. Some cannot imagine a life without it. I and some others do not think so high thoughts of FF. It is a matteby Morbid - Grand Prix 3

I guess it couldn't hurt, to send an email to Marc Aarts... Something like this: "Dear Marc, I know that you don't do GP3 stuff anymore, but I don't know who else to ask. So I hope that you don't mind that I am asking you. If you really don't want to be bothered, just ignore this email. But I would really appreciate your help, if you can find the time. While I am not the webmaster, I think I can help you. Quote: Do you think it would be possible to put the replies on the same page like they used to be? You mean, when you click on a thread you only see the initial post, and below that there is a tree of "click-links", right? Hence you have to do some major browsing to check all the replies... Yes the pics are interesting *droooool*. I would like to have one of those. But maybe you should leave a "click-link" intsead, the next time, so the users can decide for themselves whether they want to spend 2 minutes d/l pics...by Morbid - Grand Prix 3

Yes I can edit some of the things in the game with my bare hands. If it was not for all the damn cheaters and trolls, that have infected that game, I would still be a clan-member. The CS community is one of the most awful (though there are bright stars to) that can be imagined. L337 7@1K, pahhh! Now I have reduced myself to only playing with people I really TRUST, and bots . But I can still hby Morbid - Grand Prix 3
Okay, no prob. We are still in the cstrike folder. Add these lines to the following files (important! Add the lines AFTER any "unbindall" commands, and the mousewheel may NOT be set for anything, before the script is added!) config.cfg bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+weapnext" bind "MWHEELUP" "+weapprev" autoexec.cfg alias +weapnext "invnext;+attackby Morbid - Grand Prix 3
If you can already change weapons with your mousewheel without the extra mouseclick, you will not need my "fastdraw"-script. And since it only works for the mousewheel, you definitely need something else for the "fastdraw" on the keyboard. This is what you need, if my memory serves my right: Edit your config.cfg (with notepad or whatever) in your "cstrike" folder (Cby Morbid - Grand Prix 3
Beardless2! I have made a little script for CS so that movements of my mousewheel changes the weapons immediately. Its pretty fast. Usually I actually get to draw my sidearm, and fire a few shots (and sometimes even win a duel that way), instead of the "Oh no! no ammo, now I am dead!" It is very short. Shall I dig it up and post it?by Morbid - Grand Prix 3
