this qualy system sucks, big time.by Frantic - F1
apparently this would be renault´s racing livery, as it seems on twitter. i hope to be wrong, honestlyby Frantic - F1
in first place its incredible how in the last 25 years motorsport in general reduced the risks at a minimun on most cases. but as said above you simply cant make the risk a 0%. You could aim to a zero risk but only as a philosophy of reducing as much as possible. if this device can save lives and its proved reliable in all situations (ex. when the driver cant get out the car by his own and that sby Frantic - F1
bernd maylander´s gonna have a boring seasonby Frantic - F1
Anyway, we all know that the yellow and black color will be back in 2016 and I think that the real 2016 livery could be similar... Let's see... well, in (still) Lotus´ twitter they are retweeting various of the fan-made liveries for this year, and one of them was the one IWE brought here alongside a "we REALLY like f1 racing attempt"... as long as we have a yellow car and no redby Frantic - F1
so, Red Bull-TAG Heuer but still Renault engines... read somewhere that they only use the termical engine and will have Illmor working with them to develop it Speaking of Renault, now that they own Toleman again get ready to see 494010691235461324986153987 concept liveries before February. (and i bet they will use a revised 2010 one, that is in itself a revised one from the 2007 30 ans thingby Frantic - F1
Vettel said that it wasnt a puncture and it exploded instead. i´ve always thought Pirelli is awful, but today´s thing is indeed worrying. i´d rather not blame Vettel for doing 27 laps with that tyres because, altough Pirelli said the best approach was a 2-stop strategy, hembery himself said that the primes could last 40 laps. Aside of that, if you have worn tyres, what happened today shouldntby Frantic - F1
We skipped Spain thread so here it is the official Sega´s Super Monaco GP one. of course this sparks are all showbiz, but im not really sure about if they´re so eye candy as we are saying or at least im not sure if they are more eye candy than the 80s and 90s sparks. Im waiting for a bumpy track (if there is any left... interlagos? spa?) to see what they could give. I would love to see things like the ones Mansell did, he said a while ago that sparks were a weapon, as he coby Frantic - F1

What are the odds of Hulkenberg and Stevens being teammates at Ferrari? Regarding the van der Garde thing, its clear that Sauber didnt do their homework good. Im assuming they wont put in Melbourne a 2-seater car so either Nasr or Ericsson willby Frantic - F1
removing tobacco ads in old photos is now a common practice I think, in Senna´s page in facebook they also did that, deleting like 798442783,5 Marlboros on each image... it is not like if I see i logo in a car say "oh I want to smoke a car!" And idk how it is in Australia but in a lot of places there are trying to ban also Alcohol advertising now, in a near future we could see the maby Frantic - F1
so, dennis confirmed 2015 macca´s livery will change and the team is asking people on Twitter whether they prefer, if the orange from the 60s or the red & white one... also, i really love Seb´s helmet!!!!! hes surely gonna change it race by race, but is nice to see a simple and clean helmet designby Frantic - F1
and Felipe Nasr has just been confirmed as a Sauber driver for 2015 now! Good news!by Frantic - F1
Ericsson will drive for Sauber in 2015 *Clicky*by Frantic - F1
i would say Nico did what he had to do, it is not for praise him that much but im sure he was gonna be slaughtered if he arrived 3rd or 4th Regarding the tyre thing, altough the ideal would be more tyre suppliers so the thing wold be make the faster tyre, i think it would be good that each team choose their tyre compund every race, with Pirelli only giving a recommendation, or something like tby Frantic - F1
i heard it on local TV during last race, not really sure where did they get that! guess is more of pure especulation about if he and rosberg would clash again, started from the Alonso´s and Macca contract extension thingby Frantic - F1
the lastest thing i heard is that Merc would not extend Lewis contract (that finishes in 2015), so Alonso would want a one-year contract with McLaren (they want Alonso 2 years in the team) to go to Mercedes in 2016. Im 99% sure Vettel will end in Ferrari, even his dad now owns a California! (didnt MS drive a street Ferrari at Monaco in 1995? ), If Mattiacci and Co. are restructuring the teamby Frantic - F1
EDIT: didnt read De Cesaris death was mencioned above, sorry this day needs to end now. also, RMC sport (that was a fiable source during michael schumacher accident time) reported that Bianchi´s status has worsened as he´s been intubated and could face another intervention shortly...by Frantic - F1
Sutil: "Situation with Bianchi is critical. Hope he is in good hands. I was standing right next it. Don't want to talk about details."by Frantic - F1
sutil just confirmed that bianchi hit the truckby Frantic - F1
or Carlos Sainz Jr getting there now i get what alonso said a couple of days ago, that he "will do the best for Ferrari". I guess that he was waiting to know what was Vettel going to doby Frantic - F1
some people are reporting that Ferrari and Alonso will terminate their contract at the end of this year in a mutual agreement, and that he´d be going to McLaren to partner Button effectively. Bianchi would be in for 2015 in his place, and Ferrari´s idea would be to get Vettel once kimi retiresby Frantic - F1
i would also like to see how this radio restrictions will affect the race in general, now that things like the team radio to Massa saying he was using throttle and brakes at the same time in turn 3 are banned, and also information about fuel/brakes/tyres etc. I guess this will mean more DNFs, and it should be a disadvantage for those that dont take too much care of the mechanics or have an agby Frantic - F1
it was a matter of time, how much time has passed since the last big changes to Monza, ten years? think this isn't worse than when they modified the lesmos anywayby Frantic - F1
they will start with safety car in the actual order, isn't supposed that they have to start again from lap zero with the original grid if they don't complete the first 2 laps? Also with this delay is increasing rain chances towards the end of the race!by Frantic - F1
Apparently he only has a minor injury on his right ankle, good news for such a bad crashby Frantic - F1
The intro of standing starts its simply stupid for today. I think races would be decided on the aggregate times of both parts of the race, one per start. Maybe that wasnt so bad 30 years ago when even the team and drivers didnt knew how many fuel they had in their cars, but today with all the information the spectator has to handle (as % of fuel left for each driver, who is in DRS zone who is notby Frantic - F1
