to be honest to him, he just lacks the speed. is that really caused by him moaning and playing mind games? I would rather assume that the latter is the consequence of Nico's lack of pace and frustration. Nevertheless, it wouold be some comeback to remember if he fights back. The question is HOW? How do you win against someone who: 1. has identical equipment at his disposal 2. is naturaby mitadumapaga - F1

@ Morbid I do not understand one thing. You (just like me) think that McLaren willl not challenge for wins any time soon, even in the next season. You even brought up some technical data to support this. Then, why are people so optimistic? The BBC pundits, the Sky team all bet on McLaren making wins towards the end of THIS season. Are they not insiders? Do not they know that stuff? Why areby mitadumapaga - F1

which scandal do you mean Morbid? The 2012 one, when Maldonado purposefully hit perez?by mitadumapaga - F1
It is clear that rosberg is playing mind games... I, personally, see it the kind of piquet-mansell situation. Rosberg is not as fast as lewis, yet he does not want to yield. And although piquet was also slower than mansell, the fact he won the title in 1987 is yet another proof that we should never discard a driver, as long as he refuses to accept playing second fiddle. @Slash, I think what yby mitadumapaga - F1
I do not know thr story behind patrese. Do you mean he accepted defeat early on or do you conpare him with rosberg?by mitadumapaga - F1
we still have not gone to the races where rosberg does better. in my opinion some of those are: bahrain; monaco; spain. If life and sport have taught me somethin is that everything that has a beginning has and end. For example, take alonso's 2006 season. It turned upside down by the season finale. If you need an example of intra team changes, take prost and senna in 1988. Senna led with 7:3by mitadumapaga - F1
Why does everyone one believe that McLaren honda will be challenging towards the end of the season? They can barely complete 30 laps, qualify last for 2 races in a row, and honda have fewer tokens to wok on than renault. What objective data is there that may suggest mclaren will challenge for a place in q3 let alone a win?by mitadumapaga - F1
guys would you share with me your opinion? Lewis finished ca. 3-4 seconds ahead of rosberg, yet he was given a score of 8 by SKYSPORTS, and rosberg was given a score of 5. How is that possible? Is it that I do not understand something or do you think that those ratings are really biased?by mitadumapaga - F1
What a facepalm-moment for Ron Dennis. He has Alonso...ALONSO!!! in his team and cant get out of Q3.... Q3!!!! What is worse is that the problems seems to be related to the chassis too. The BBC pundits pointed out how the Macca was not driving the bumps but jumping over them. Additionally, button said he struggles to get temperature into the tyres. If there is something positive that is thaby mitadumapaga - F1
Button on Thursday: "We ll be last" Button on Friday (after seeing Alonso in action): "We may actually be fighting the midfield" That is "The ALONSO effect". I cannot help a feeling that he would have been doing just as much better than kimi in that ferrari as he did last year. Such a waste of talent for poor old Alonso. I remember watching him win the 2006 chaby mitadumapaga - F1

What is wrong with the f1 coverage nowadays? No-one, and I mean no one asked rosberg the most interesting question really: "When you had a pitstop over vettel, why did you not pit for soft tyres and give it a shot overtaking lewis? Are you allowed to change strategies?" Instead the questions were something like "Nico, how important will be to start in pole this season?"by mitadumapaga - F1
Plus SkY has given MASSA and perez the same scores (a score of 6). How is that even possible? The one drove a nearly faultless race, the other was not able to overtake Jenson button in a mclaren; spun behind him losing tons of time and damaged his car? I am finding some of the SKY stories absolutely nonsensical.by mitadumapaga - F1
is my english too bad, or are sky just making up a story? In reality, as Rosberg subsequently acknowledged, Hamilton was in cruise control and never really under threat. "Lewis didn’t make any mistakes and it wasn’t possible to get any closer,” the German admitted. How do Rosberg's words prove that Lewis was in "cruise" control and "never" under threat??by mitadumapaga - F1
It is easy to be judgmental in hindsight. I hope for the best for all parties involved - from the employees of Sauber to the management team and the drivers involved. This being said, though, I must admit that the reason for what happened is not purely down to F1 being cruel on small teams. Why do teams, such as force india and lotus not have such troubles? O.k. you can speculate about the kiby mitadumapaga - F1
Hi Morbid, I agree with you, and one does not have to be a genius to know that there is a split of opinions within McLaren Honda, and probably the split is among RonDennis/Eric Boullier and Honda. People must give one thing to Ron though; when he returned to McLaren he said that he wants to have the best drivers in the car. He has Alonso (supposedly). Moreover, McLaren definitely strengthenby mitadumapaga - F1

Hey Incident 2k9, I see your points, so i Guess there really is not a single right answer to who deserves the 2nd mclaren seat more. That said, I would like to make a few remarks to your points: Time: True. Magnussen has more years ahed than does Button, but I guess McLaren do need immediate results (even if you do not necessarily measure them in race positions). Van...who? This cannot be a serious consideration can it? I mean you have this new complicated power unit by honda, and you have to make it work perfectly with the car. Vandorne would need months to learn how to race properly, let alone set up new power unit the car. Or in the spirit of Alonso's team radio today... "who is this guy" :D:D:Dby mitadumapaga - F1
Jenson Button smashed, like literally wiped the floor, with Kevin Magnussen in the last 1/3 or 1/4 of the season. Magnussen's best finish was 5th in Russia, and still, Button was 4th that day with over 20 second ahead on the road. Moreover, what exactly did Magnussen did in his first year that was worthy to keep him? If anyone points out the podium in Austtralia, it is just an own goal,by mitadumapaga - F1
rosberg's doing whatever he can to win. I don't think he s come anywhere near MS, Senna or Piquet, Alonso, all of whom are considered great champions. (w/o piquet maybe).by mitadumapaga - F1
