It's great, and I hope we do get HD F1 next year. It makes no sense that I can watch literally every other motorsport event in HD, yet not F1.by jbnd05 - F1
Seen the new Mclaren MP4-12C? One seriously good looking car, and the 600bhp twin turbo engine is more efficient than a Prius in terms of emissions :Dby jbnd05 - Off-Topic
The worst thing is, if Renault pull out of F1 because of this, people who played no part in any of the alleged decisions will lose their jobs. These things have a huge ripple effect.by jbnd05 - F1
Imo not a wise decision. The one constant of the debate we're having is that we can always assume that Mclaren will bounce back from the doldrums. So why take the risk of Brawn? Especially when Mercedes and Mclaren have had such a long relationship that's yielded good results.by jbnd05 - F1
I wouldn't commit to Brawn for the long haul yet, they've had some pretty serious development issues.by jbnd05 - F1
Manic Street Preachers - Umbrella :Dby jbnd05 - Off-Topic
Despite all of this, Renault and motorsport are pretty deeply linked, with their brand image and all of the series that they have/ are entered in. So if they drop out, this won't be the whole reason.by jbnd05 - F1
It says something about you as a race driver when your only talent is for crashing on command. This is ridiculous imo, but highly entertaining.by jbnd05 - F1
Here's hoping the run from la source to les combes is happy happy kers time!by jbnd05 - F1
Fisi!!!!!!!! Well done FI!!! Freakish qualy, and I think the race will be crazy. I reckon kimi will take the win, and I think the kers cars will come back in the race in a big way.by jbnd05 - F1
Well done to Rubens, bad luck for Hamilton though. I still haven't got a clue who will win the championship. Last year, people talked about how neither Lewis or Felipe were consistent enough and were thus less deserving of the championship. Yet this year, none of the Brawn or Red Bull drivers is even near consistent. JB is not the MS that he was proclaimed to be and both of the Red Bullsby jbnd05 - F1
That's a real shame. Now the two inevitable questions then: 1) Who will replace Massa? 2) Why would you go to Valencia now?by jbnd05 - F1
Maybe it's the fact that they splashed out on KERS and then found out it compromised their car. Please. Give. Us. Prodrive/Aston.by jbnd05 - F1
I'm glad to see Kimi back on form actually.by jbnd05 - F1
So happy for Lewis, it felt fantastic to see him win after a long time. The boys back at the factory must be overjoyed. In other news, Brawn don't look good, but none of the new top four of Button, Barichello, Vettel and Webber look consistent enough to be an obvious title winner. Another weekend of BMW being absolutely nowhere. Whereas Mclaren and Ferrari have made considerable progreby jbnd05 - F1
Apparently Bourdais won't be the only one absent in Hungary.by jbnd05 - F1

All we need now is Ari Vatanen then we're good to go.by jbnd05 - F1
I don't think I'd stick with Bernie if I were FOTA.by jbnd05 - F1
Maybe if Sutil secures a better drive next year ...by jbnd05 - F1
Yeah, the start was incredible (the puncture less so )by jbnd05 - F1
The Rubens video will be on the BBC website soon I reckon. Interesting discussion with Ant D, Frank W, DC, EJ and Jake, about Rubens and Williams. It's online now if you want to watch or on red button. Nice to see Frank too.by jbnd05 - F1
My issue is not only with his views on dictators etc, but the fact that he consistently cites F1 as a dictatorship. He really knows how to bring the sport into a positive light.by jbnd05 - F1
If there was ever a sign that Bernie and Max have outstayed their welcome, it's these actions now.by jbnd05 - F1
Red Bull are changing their reserve from Brandon Hartley to Jamie Alguersuari. Does this signal Hartley moving, possibly to one of the new entries?by jbnd05 - F1
Apparently Adelaide really wants the GP back so that's definitely a possibility.by jbnd05 - F1
That would be epic . It's such a shame that the FIA only want 26 cars, personally if my racing series could see an influx of new teams in the middle of a deep recession I would welcome them.by jbnd05 - F1
Nelson on Alonso - "He's Flavio's perfect little son who never moans about anything." Watch out...by jbnd05 - F1
