What intrigues me is the notion of Patrick Head designing the concept for the new rules has in this. Changes Inspired by Head & Byrne I would imagine that by being on a consultation group about new rules for 2013 with Rory Byrne (officially retired?), he would be there on experience and merit. If this were the case of course he would be advising rules with a potential bias if he werby badger27 - F1

I think the overall may give a clue as to the potential livery for Williams. If you look at picture 11 & 12 on the slide here you can see the yellow and red featuring as borders to the at&t blue. I think the whole livery may follow suit. Having said that, it would seem as little odd having Rubens with a Venezuelan flag that big.by badger27 - F1
The idea of a helmet used to be about recognition; about association with a driver. As a result of the sponsorhsip influence in F1, helmet designs are going to be how they were. I've seen somewhere on this forum that Hamilton's helmet design was the influence of Senna, and that Senna's design was a generic (Irvine used it in F3 if I recall?) As I see it, helmet designs tend to bby badger27 - F1
I recall there being a little tension between Trulli and Alonso at Renault in 2003. I've got no evidence to back this up but I think it might have been in some ITV coverage at the time. But then this would not be tabloid I suppose. I'm just trying to imply there could have been grounds for the general press. Bear in mind this is after the very year Jenson left Renault.by badger27 - F1

Dear all, I have noticed the enthusiasm that this community has for some years, and whilst I have spectated on many occasion and contributed for a short time (a few GP3 liveries are my only contribution), I would like to reward everyone with an opportunity... I was contacted earlier this evening by a friend of my brother with regards to hospitality personnel for the British Grand Prix at Siby badger27 - F1

With Piquet being so prone to crashing before Singapore, Renault may have just used him in a slightly different way to what the reports are suggesting... If you just told him to push the limit of the car, then odds are that he would just lose it somewhere. If he did, then it fits nicely for Alonso. If he didn't, he got more out of the car. Win-Win situation really. This would also suppby badger27 - F1
Surely this will effect the perception of the braking zones for drivers? Isn't that just fuelling the possibilty of mistakes, in addition to the fact its a new circuit?by badger27 - F1

Finally this mess is over with!! (Almost...). Good Luck to Brawn GP I say, it now means that there is another private F1 team on the grid, which personally I find more entertaining than these manufacturer teams. zulu_85 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm most looking forward to > what the livery might look like... :P Me too, looking simply aby badger27 - F1
The sooner this matter is silenced the better. Maybe we should send a petition to the Brackley site for disclosure so we can settle this petty quarrel. As it stands, how many of the people have been laid off at Brackley? If the numbers haven't changed all that much, and they've missed all the testing sessions, they may not be that far behind as people suspect. Of course they won'by badger27 - F1
Surely Branson would fancy keeping Button with a seat? Just a guess. If Virgin is wanting to keep the awareness to the Japanese market, then Sato would be the logical choice there (after all the Japanese public did go into a frenzy when he lost his seat the first time round). Considering the change of the cars this year, Sato's experience probably won't have much advantage againstby badger27 - F1

Good Luck is essentially a probability falling into your hands. Bad luck is when the probability of a scenario does not fall the way you want it to. I believe it was Einstein that said there is still the probability of walking across a road and finding yourself on the same side. (In theory, it could happen) Manufacturing luck is something which is not in your hands AT THIS PRESENT MOMENT. Aby badger27 - F1
