I heard Kawasaki, but I think that's unconfirmed. Can't believe Camel dropped Pons Honda and sided with the works Yamaha team. That just bitch-slaps Honda real bad.by turkey_machine - Off-Topic
Sorry, I feel in a minority here, but I have to side with Iran on this. The other countries (US in particular) are bullies to try and get the world to do their bidding. How can the US talk about sanctions when they got rid of Saddam in an illegal war and made a country descend into anarchy?by turkey_machine - Off-Topic
OK, there's some variety there. I forgot about Grand Prix Legends. :Dby turkey_machine - Grand Prix 4
NickV's layout, or Dada's.by turkey_machine - Grand Prix 3
I may be in a minority here, but I find that shade of orange repulsive! Sure, it looks OK on the F1 road car, but on an F1 car, that's not quite right.by turkey_machine - F1
Stay right here then if you need F1 talk.by turkey_machine - F1
I quite like the building and would have liked it to win. However, it's interesting to compare and contrast this to the Porsche factory that was shown straight after the McLaren Technology Centre. The car's components are on conveyer belts all over the factory. Also, why would Kevin McCloud have to wear soft fluffy slippers in the wind tunnel?by turkey_machine - F1
First impressions: looks like a cross between a Ferrari and a Minardi.by turkey_machine - F1
What's the 3 best F1 physics engines you've played within the last 8 or 9 years? And what's the worst, in that same time-frame? We're not talking graphics, just how the car handles. My 3 best: 1) Grand Prix 4 2) Grand Prix 3 3) Formula 1 97 (PS1) My reason for no 3 is it was very realistic at the time. However subsequent ones live a lot to be desired, as you'llby turkey_machine - Grand Prix 4
9/10. Got all right except the one with the water and something... Now I'm happy my eyesight's good.by turkey_machine - Off-Topic
Just a comment on the eyesore on Page 44, that could be any number of places. My first thought was Suzuka, but that would have been a huge shunt to tumble there! However, it's nice to see something other than Windows XP. Go Fedora!by turkey_machine - Off-Topic
First glances told me it was Alain Prost...by turkey_machine - F1
Also depends on the cars as well as driving styles. Some drivers are easier on the tyres than others. This is most often displayed in things like GP Masters, A1GP, F3, GP2 et al.by turkey_machine - F1
Yeah, this is one of the quickest conversations I've ever had in a forum!by turkey_machine - Off-Topic
Fair enough. I must be thinking about oven-temperature P4s then.by turkey_machine - Off-Topic

I guess that's the third season? As far as I can remember, the third season hasn't been shown in the UK. Yet!by turkey_machine - Off-Topic

Man, some of these are real gems! I laughed quite hard at them!by turkey_machine - F1
OK, thanks! :D What could you suggest for Spa, 1998 version? Eau Rouge destroys the planks, and about half-way through the race (full distance), I get a penalty because the plank has worn too much. I tried stiffer suspension, higher ride height, and packers, and it still does it. It's not ideal for the race setup, partly because the car handles badly. In qualy, I can get away with it!by turkey_machine - Grand Prix 3
Say at Monaco. With the default suspension you can get virtually no plank wear in the rear, and the tyre wear is average. When the suspension is softened, the tyre wear goes down, the plank wear stays about the same. If the ride height is lowered, the tyre wear stays the same, the plank wear stays for the most part the same, but I get no noticeable performance benefits over a race distance. If it is Bridgestone, then Ferrari can't blame the tyres continuously for their bad performances, because all the teams will be in the same boat (more or less). But the decision for the tyre supplier has to made fairly early, like May-June time, because cars are built around the tyres for the most part. Minardi had problems in 2003 because the car they built for the 2003 season was originby turkey_machine - F1
The Dell 2405FPW is a seriously good monitor, and definitely justifies it's £650 price tag, or whatever you can find it for. Personally, this is the system I'd like: AMD Athlon64 4000+ Crucial / Corsair / OCZ / Kingston / other branded 4 GB DDR(2) RAM NForce4 SLI Motherboard with decent overclockability 2 NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX graphics cards in SLI mode At least 500W modular poby turkey_machine - Off-Topic

BBC2 always had it after Match Of The Day, but it's still a bloody good show. I personally like Tobias. He tries so hard, yet fails so spectacularly! Anybody see the ones where he dressed up as an English nanny? LMAO!by turkey_machine - Off-Topic
On the subject of sponsorship money, I think it's a good thing that Vodafone are moving to Honda. The money should be distributed more evenly within the teams, and IMO the more money that goes away from Ferrari the better. They should feel the burden of not having money to burn at Fiorano.by turkey_machine - F1
Usually they are to clear up grey areas that came about during the preceding season. To point something out, when Montoya was disqualified at the Canadian Grand Prix 2005, originally it was thought to be because he overtook under the Safety Car. It actually turned out to be because he left the pit-lane while it was closed. Martin Brundle mentioned something about this being in response Some of thby turkey_machine - F1
