Nay strange. I read a quote from Horner, might have been just after Malaysia, stating that contract negotiations b/w Red Bull and Mark would be a "very short conversation" and the context was 'we want you

F1 Raulongo, the only thing interesting about that interview was how well Webber restricted his mouth from speaking his mind. Lot's of eyeballs at the ceiling. Pro Yap.

F1 Whatever caused Webber or his car to have allowed Vettel the inside shoot for the lead and possibly the championship lead, they've both now got egg on their faces.
Webber didn't think of self preservation, but then he had the lead, after 2 victories to put him equal to his younger teammate and started from pole yet again. After dealing with the obvious straight line advantage of the

F1 Every fatality on the roads is a tragedy.
What is the logic behind suspending a D/L for 6-12 or more months but only impounding a car for 24-48 hrs? Logically speaking, what odds are raised for unlicensed and possibly more hoon driving?
Maybe the offender doesn't own the car? Owner beware. How many hoon offenders see their hoon cars crushed into street signs?

F1 It mightn't last long, but Courtney taking the champ lead is a spice up even if he is in a Ford. I'm still not accustomed to the idea of 888 becoming Holden.
New rule at Bathurst this year? No two current drivers can team up in the same car. That will be interesting.
But you're right about tracks like Winton. Transformers in a phone box. For a TV viewer it looks entirely up

Other Motorsports Stupid application of a regulation then? Safety car must enter the pits on the last lap, yet while green flags wave, cars must continue to the finish line as if the safety car was leading them?
Why did all the top runners race for the line? Are shoddy race communications to blame?

F1 F1 races might seem processional, more so without refuelling and lets face it, no F1 car will ever be designed to encourage overtaking, but there's still a world of intrigue in every battle.
I can only see the Schumacher/Alonso situation as a fan. SC in, green flags waved, Alonso falters, Schumacher nailed the pass. SC line 1 not crossed beforehand. A great move at the absolute death that

F1 Massa should be penalised, regardless of how Button was doing. Maybe a fine?
Bad luck for Kubica, but he's still a major threat tomorrow.
But Webber, oh Webber, please make it two wins in a row. Man's on fire.

F1 In hindsight my OP should have read: "Don't stick it through 'em Webber". Cheap surmise, but how much more of a contrast to Bahrain could we have hoped for?
Button's strategy and smoothness won, Kubica came 2nd by prowess as much as providence, comeback Massa kept it clean nose to tail for 3rd and Alonso had to settle as Captain Sensible behind his teammate after a gre

F1 Bahrain wasn't boring, it just wasn't Melbourne. It was interesting until Red Bull broke a horn, the horses pranced by and the rest got stuck in that awful 2nd sector. Never mind the aero, just slay that 2nd sector.
But it's no longer practice, not yet a season. Congrats to Alonso, Massa and Hamilton for their podiums. Tough luck Vettel, hard work Rosberg, watch out for... guess
