Alex Wurz uses 1 red and 1 blue racing boot IIRC and a lot of the drivers will only enter and exit the car from a certain side due to superstition. I heard once that Mansell would not let enybody touch his helmet before the race (no pun intended) and also used to clean his own visors just to be sure, but thats more to do with being safety conscious.

F1 It's a well known fact that Neopolian, sorry Todt, cannot win in a level playing field. Look at Peugeot in the Group C. They only came into it when Jaguar, Porsche and Mercedes left and the Championship was on it's arse. They were the only team out there taking it serious (e.g with the biggest budget). Ok Toyota were there but other than Rallying what have they ever done?

F1 I think tripleM means the last wet race in Suzuka. And I'm not sure but I believe you're right. I think it threatend to rain a few years ago, but don't quote me on that. Going back to '94 though at Suzuka Schumacher was fighting against Hill for the championship and Hill won it on aggregate as the race was red flagged before half distance. What a race that was. The Mansell Ale

F1 Finally got to see the alledged block by Alonso. WTF is Massa complaining about?! He's miles away from Fernando. I now see why the Renault boys were so angry about that, I too can smell the FIA rat that Alonso mentioned (metophorically). That is disgusting, it's at times like this that the FIA make it very hard for us fans to defend the Sport .

F1 I kinda second that. Although my gut reaction is to say he hasn't really shone in F1, he has put in some good Qualifying laps and solid (if unspectacular) race performances towards the end of this year. I'm not a big fan personally, but there are drivers in F1 at the moment who are far less deserving of a drive than Albers. I'd like to see him grow with the team as it would be good

F1 OMG. Thats terrible news. He was indeed a legend and one of the all time greats of motorsport. He will be sorely missed in tin top circles.
RIP Peter,
My deepest sympathy to his family friends and the Austrailian motorsport community.

F1 Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking Massa. When he's not throwing it off the road he's a good bet for points, but hand on heart can anybody actually say that he will give Kimi a run for his money over the course of a season? I just can't see it. I wasn't caught up by the hype of Kimi when he came in into Sauber in 2001 but he has gradually got better and better. 2004

F1 There will be no battle. Kimi will demolish Massa. Kimi is (IMO) possible the most naturaly gifted driver to ever grace a race track. His speed is phonomenal. I have been watching F1 for around 20 odd years now and he produces performances which I have only ever seen on rare occasion. Massa on the other hand will only ever be good enough for the mid field. Don't get me wrong he shows flashes

F1 The reason Ferrari are adding those little wings is to clean up the air flow over the body. The longer you make the air stick to the body genrally the more efficient it is. It stop vorticees and therefore drag being produced. If you see pictures of a streamlined vehicle in a wind tunnel you will notice the small boundary layer around the vehicle and the way the air flows down the back of it and k
