I've seen two F1 cars.
I went to visit what was left of the Lotus team in 1998. Had a very interesting discussion with a machanic about Mansell, Senna, Hakkinen and Herbert, (he didn't get on with Herbert, said he moaned too much, he liked Mika, said he was a hard worer no matter how bad the car was....he got a tad bleary eyed and nostalgic when talking about Mansell and Senna). I go

F1 Yeah, thats what i'm considering doing to be honest. MS paint has always been good enough in the past...i could even allow a little dramatic license and try my own ideas for non-tobacco...i think i might just go down the route of blanking them out though...with ferrari that more of less what they did in 2002 anyway if i remember corectly.
...i have to ask though, do i have the most pains

Grand Prix 3 Hello,
I've recently come back to playing Grand Prix 3 after a 2 and a half years absence due to being abroad and new jobs and stuff. I decided to carry on where i had left off. Finished as 2001 World Champion when i last played so thought i would just carry on with 2002.
So far, so good, found a nice whole season update which, with a few tweaks here and there, works quite nicely. Prob

F1 A couple of other F1 projects that never got off the ground:
Honda in 1997, (I think?)
Of course, honda chose a different route into F1 in the end.
Then there was Dome, which was also 1997 I think:
When i visited what was left of Lotus F1 in 1998, they told me they were aiming to be back on the grid by 2000 and explained how they were going t do it. Obviously it never happened

F1 I heard someone say once that a good way of increasing overtaking was by bringing back manual gearboxes where the driver had to take his hand of the wheel to change gear...this apparently led to drivers missing gears at crucial moments and allowing the driver behind to have a go. I think it was Alain Prost who said that but i can't be sure!
Although small driver errors today do lead to ov

One of Ralf's early mistakes at Jordan was turning up at the circuits on the wrong weekend's, fully equiped with a car and some mechanics, leaving him feeling very lonely.

F1 I like the idea, but not the way it was excuted. There must be loads of ways you can put the image of the Earth onto an F1 car and make it look good. I would for example, leave the whole car black and have a picture of the globe on each side and possibly a third one on the nose cone. But just wrapping the earth around an F1 car just doesn't appear to work.

During the Belgian Grand Prix in 2007, Perry McCarthy was stil awaiting to go on his out lap after being held at the end of the pitlane for 17 years.

F1 During the 1990's, i was a huge fan of formula 1, would never miss a race.
The car launches recently have got me thinking back to the early to mid 90's and the car launches from then. Correct me if I'm wrong but i recall some of them to be very spectacular and fairly memorable.
Two that spring to mind is Bennetton in 1996 and McLaren Mercedes at the science musuem in 1995, (t

F1 I think all of them in that picture should be wary of the man to the right...definitly looks like he's up to no good!
Maybe he's a trespasser and is trying to see how long he can stand there before someone notices him?!

F1 I found that patch you mentioned. Nice idea but my computer just completly freaked out when I tried it! It did not like it at all...when i tested it, yes i was in hardware mode but it took nearly 10 minutes for the starting lights to come on at the start of the race! Then when i went back out of the game back into windows..the computer had had enough by now and was doing all sorts of strange thin

Grand Prix 3 I did exactly the same thing!
A bit embarrassing when you tweak everything to try and stop it from crashing and it turns out to be something simple like that!
Its not too difficult to work out what the values for each car should be anyway.
Helped me solve some problems with my GP2 game as well...exactly the same thing!
