Senna drove for and achieved great results for Toleman and Lotus too, not just Mclaren.
In any case Jan just didn't do well when he could have shined against Rubens when they started out.
He was a real disappointment as he was widely expected to very competitive and the fact that he was replaced by Jos Verstappen says it all.
Stefano Modena was another driver who came into F1 with s

F1 Ted's waving of the Union Jack at the Brazilian crowd was just dumb.
Agree that James Allen was on his best form today, but i think it is time for a change and hopefully it will be for the better.
Oh and Peter Windsor is a pretentious cock.

F1 Patrese debuted in 1977, which is amazing when you consider he drove F1 cars in the 70's, 80's and 90's!
Have enjoyed watching DC racing over the years and his start in F1 is particularly poignant to me as he replaced the irreplaceable Senna.
For me his best drive was the Spanish GP in 2000 after nearly dying in a plane crash, still suffering with broken ribs and the obvious

F1 The car was great at the start of the season though marc, but Lewis obviously has worked hard with the engineers to make the Mclaren suit his driving style which is tail happy and tyre hungry.
Fernando on the other hand has helped turn a heap of junk to a winning car, obviously the Renault team has made serious progress through the year and must take a lot of the credit but even Pat Symonds admi

F1 Stupid place to put the pit exit, if Mark and Kimi hit each other it would have been a big shunt.

F1 Unfortunately they don't have the onboard cameras working on all the cars all the time. It would have been interesting to see Bourdais' on board footage as the mirror cam on Felipe's car shows us little.
In any case i still can't see why he was penalised

I thought you wrote Spearmint Rhino for a second Gav! Dumb idea and a laughable response by all the drivers.

F1 To be honest Jarno is only an obstacle because he is so fast in qualifying, his race pace isn't quite as good but he's still a good driver IMO.

F1 "Kimi's problem is heating tyres and the front of the car...he likes aggressive oversteering car like McLaren is not the kind of car that F2008 is.Most problems Kimi will have are on the tracks that have slow corners because he can't turn to the corners like he wants.this could get solved next year with slick tyres that are more Michelin likes and allow you to turn to the corners t

F1 Glad to see Ryder, Blundell and Allen are to go and i was hoping that DC would feature somewhere in the mix so good news on that front. Can't see why they are employing Jake Humphrey though, strange choice.

F1 Remember Felipe has had far more mechanical problems than Lewis this season.
Not been a fan of him previously but his pace in Singapore before the pitlane feckup was awesome and in general this season he has been excellent when it hasn't rained.
I see some here don't want him to win the championship (Kimi fans, Mclaren fans and Bruno ), i doubt he will now but if he does i will be ve

F1 True, normally winning the World Championship would give a driver more confidence and consequently better results but Kimi is in a top car and is under performing.
He has been consistently the quickest driver in race trim but isn't where he should be in qualifying and can't seem to make much progress when stuck in the midfield.
It's sad to see such a talent getting the poor resu

F1 Felipe was smart enough not to go over the pit exit line to have his car looked at.
Ferrari just didn't have their heads screwed on today, they have showed similar instances of chaos before, i remember Eddie Irvine's botched pit stop where they couldn't find the right tyres and similarly bad problems with Rubens in the past.

F1 Piquet will be without a seat next year for certain now. How many retirements due to accidents has he had so far this season?
Heikki's also been a huge dissapointment for me this season. Not accident prone but lacking pace at every race compared with Lewis for most of the GPs this year. He doesn't look too happy there either.
