MS penalised for Brazil? Give me a break! He slowed down, in fact he slowed to such an extent that the downforce he got was so negligible that it caused him to spin. So, give him a penaly for being overcautious, yes? And what about Pizzonia. Didn't he spin under waved yellows shortly after Montoya? I never heard anyone complaining about this. Or Trulli at the A1-Ring, spinning under wavedby St.Hubbins - F1
Also, never trust the official timing system. Brazil 2003 proves thisby St.Hubbins - F1
I've read countless thousands of words on the crash and to be honest I go along with the 'bottoming' theory. Whether the Benetton debris played a part we will probably never know. A big no-no to the broken steering column though, telemetery shows that Senna still atempted to both turn and brake even when he had left the road. He was travelling at 191mph at the fastest, when he hitby St.Hubbins - F1
Yep, Bellof is one of those drivers that the majority would be unaware of. Had circumstances been different I truly believe we could be discussing today a double world champion. But sadly Stefan, much like Gilles, was always destined to die young at the wheel.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Quite frankly Trulli was soft with Schumacher. Easy to be wise after the event, and this he was, hence his more aggresive defence against Coulthard. But Trulli is generally crap when it comes to racing. If he's not crashing into other cars he's bottling it and conceding positions. He's naff.by St.Hubbins - F1
Alternatively HOFxLap, but I don't actually think that is what you mean. If you want times you set in practice sessions to appear as the tracks lap record then the answer is no. There is, however, a record editor that you could use to enter your best times into the game with. I think that GPMaster also does this.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Andrew, would you care to quote Schumacher's contract? Bet ya can't.by St.Hubbins - F1
I don't use a wheel but wouldn't that mean you could actually brake later? I'm thinking that as you ease off the brakes you are still slowing the car down. Ideally the pressure you apply to the brakes would be the ultimate balance between deceleration and locking. As soon as you lock your tyres your deceleration decreases, ie. you will slow don less over a given distance. Thereforby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
55) The stewards may impose any one of three penalties on any driver involved in an Incident : a) A drive-through penalty. The driver must enter the pit lane and re-join the race without stopping at his pit ; b) A ten second time penalty. The driver must enter the pit lane, stop at his pit for at least ten seconds and then re-join the race. c) a drop of ten grid positions at the following Event.by St.Hubbins - F1
Is that right that you have no sound? Very impressive if I've understood right. Went out last night still on pole, woke up lunchtime today expecting to me about 10th so I was happy with 5th.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

A great move like that and then minimises any chances of maintaining peoples' respect by opting for money rather than results. I won't miss him once he get the boot.by St.Hubbins - F1
Jeez, I've been through these incidents a million times on various forums, and here I go again. Grab yourself a coffee and a sandwich before you start, as, much like the famous words of Scott's tragic sidekick, "I might be some time"... Firstly, Schumacher has recently made comments regarding how easy it was for Kimi to overtake DC, to which anyone with an ounce of sanity wilby St.Hubbins - F1
Looks very nice. Shame there's not a pic of someone really crap on the banner, like Philipe Alliot or Jean-Denis Deletraz. Would keep with the lighter note that the site is clearly taking. Oh, hold on, Jarno Trulli is there, he's crap And the idea of the scollbar on the left is a bit odd. Took me a good twenty seconds to find it. Still, I like bright colours so it gets my seal of aby St.Hubbins - F1
I just checked the 1982 callender and that has confused me even more. While I would guess first at Dijon, I saw Ricard and Rio also. The pic is cropped and I have the full size on my desktop, from which it is clear to see a large number of black spectators. That indicates Jacarapagua to me. Anyone else care to have a stab?by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
It is Keke, my first 'hero' of F1. I was lucky enough to be standing on the outside of Club corner when he set the fastest ever qualifying lap at, Silverstone in 1985. Shame JPM beat the record at Monza last year I'm trying to figure out where the picture was taken, could be Dijon, or maybe Kyalami. Definately 1982 anyway.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
You will never get a setup that works perfectly on all corners of a track. So, in the case of Sepang you have two choices: either set the car up for the hairpin and lose time everywhere else, or set the car up for the majority of the track and lose a little time at the hairpin. Corners like the one you speak of (okay, two you speak of) are tricky but your best bet is just to take them easy so youby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Is it me or does the Hungaroring look a little like Zanvoort, especially with the reprofiling of turn 1?by St.Hubbins - F1

I'm boycotting Hockenheim. It's simply far too dangerous and I refuse to drive the track until the owners butcher it to half length and make it like all the other circuits. Seriously, I find it really boring to drive. I think since the competition was opened I have completed two laps of the place with a best time of 1:42.yyy If I wanted to sit at my keyboard and hold dowm the 'a&by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

Well, I have a video collection of every BBC and ITV highlights programme since 1983. That's 20 1/2 seasons, two 8 hour LP cassettes per season totalling something like 330 hours worth of F1. I am missing Thierry Boutsen's victory at Hungary in 1989 and Imola 1994 (BBC showed a news prog/documentary/tribute thingy instead of the regular highlights prog) but otherwise the collection is cby St.Hubbins - F1
