Ok, first I want to thank you guys, now for more questions: @St.Hubbins-do you think it's possible that the cars were a bit slower in 1981 than in 1971? @JackiMatra-these speeds are all for Hockenheim, right? Thank you guys so much, you're really helpfull!by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
Does anyone have an idea what top speeds were F1 cars reaching in 1980 at Hockenheim? I need this info to make my 1980 season more realistic. Thanks!by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
So, would you be interested in making those cars from the list?by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
Ok then, fellas, here's the list: 1982-LBT-March (de Villota) 1985-Spirit 1986-Zakspeed, Osella, AGS 1988-AGS, Osella, Coloni 1990-Osella, AGS, Coloni, Eurobrun,Onyx-Monteverdi, Life Well, that's that.by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
If you have nothing to do, I could give you a list of missing cars from late 80's & 1990, so try and make those? I'm afraid I can't provide you with many pictures of them, tho.by Kaps - Grand Prix 3

After a bit of experimenting, I've decided to have height at 512 and width at 256. It does look better, but some tracks are just not accurate still.by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
Gees, I had no idea! Thanks guys, I'll give it a try! My apologies to the author(s) of Paul Ricard!by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
I was thinking very hard & long wether to post this or not, and finally decided to give it a try... So, here goes, since I've been playing with latest gpxpatch (3.91), with pushing the "8" key on the keyboard, I'm now able to see the track layout while driving. And when I saw the Long Paul Ricard track I was very disappointed to see it's pretty inaccurate. Siby Kaps - Grand Prix 3

If it turns out to be like Jackie here says, I can't wait for that long! X_Acto, would you do me a one last favour and mail these skins to me?by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
Hmm, that's weird, I can't find them in the downloads section. How much time do they need to make it available for download?by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
The third one is even better! I know I'll use both of them! Thank you very much X_Acto, now I (will) have all the cars from 1980-1985!by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
X_Acto, have you tried to work with a 1983 carshape? If you don't have any I could mail you some.by Kaps - Grand Prix 3

Hey, that wasn't me! I like the second version better. Can I please have it? Thankby Kaps - Grand Prix 3
Wow man, you're fast! Lookin' very good! Just one thing tho, Rizla logo should be on the engine cover, not on the sidepods. Other than that, it's excellent! Thanks very much mate!by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
Thanks, man! I've sent you a couple of mails with some photos attached, so please give it a try. Thanks again!by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
No,X_Acto, I have that one too, what I need is the 1983 car, driven by E. Salazar, and then K. Acheson. Months ago some bloke listed it as WIP, amongst other cars, then we never heard from him again. As I said, I don't think that car's been made yet. So, hopefully someone could make it. Thanks anyway, X_Acto.by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
Can anyone make this skin, please, as I don't think there's one around. It's the only car from 1980-1985 that I miss.by Kaps - Grand Prix 3

Thanks, Dinga. I know that only McLaren has two different liveries in original game and I already did 1980 season with gpxpatch, but I thought that Jackie found out something we don't know. Thanks anyway!by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
JackiMatra Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > And you don't need to use GPxPatch to have two > different liveries for a team in GP3-2k. The stock > game allows it. Hey Jackie, how can I achieve that without gpxpatch?by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
Bruce D Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Too focused on GP4 to grab your fantastic GP3 Menu > backgrounds, perhaps? :D Haha, no, I've uninstalled GP4 ages ago and am actually concentrating on gp3 2k lately and I have all of Jackie's excellent menu backgrounds! It's just that we didn't get much involved in talk lately. Nice toby Kaps - Grand Prix 3
My pleasure!by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
I had the same problem. The kind members of this community provided the solution and it works. This way you can use every 1.13 shape in gp3-2k as well. Here's what you gotta do: 1. Load the 1.13 shape into car editor, 2. Go to "File -->Export CTF"and save the file as "custom.ctf" 3. Load any carshape that works with gp3-2k into car editor 4. Go to "File -->by Kaps - Grand Prix 3
