Hi where is the track? The link bring me to a presentation page and nothing else.by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Thanks Gabriele. For who have the video of the race: I compared the satellite pic of the final hairpin with the map and the road seems doesn't match it. I have a personal idea of the hairpin and I made a pic to explain it. Can I send you this pic so you can tell me? byeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Good Mr Lee, post them so we can see. Gap, ehm...I don't understand about magic data in italian so in english is more hard :P . The link is ok. The tyres I mean are the barriers of Dallas. Many of them are gray. Do you have something about the pit entrance/exit? I think it is before the right final turn. Pit buildings I suppose are temporary buildings. I'm trying an experiment withby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Ok! With this the research of info about the layout is finished (I hope). The satellite pics confirm that the black one, follow the road. If you want to post or send to me other pics of other parts of the track, it will be an additional help for the scenary all around there... PS: Are you able to create the grey tyres texture? bye Good Sunday to everyone!!by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Hello great work. Finally we know that the track is anti-clockwise, so the hairpin in the top is at the end of the lap. There is still a trouble. If you see the two maps (the black one by Saih Pitu and the blue one by Bigears) you can see two big differences: the hairpin on the top of the map is very different and the second chicane (on the right) is represented with both sides entrance. Mr Leeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Ok guys. Good As Freddy Mercury said "I'm going slightly mad" with this track. Is this fuxxxng track clocwise or not? Mr Lee said it is anticlocwise, all maps say it is clockwise, but from pics it seems anticlockwise. Heeeeeeeeeelp Second question: the second chicane (on the right of the previous map) is not like the first but there is a right bend before the S. In other maps tby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
take a look. The track is always indicated as clockwise. Hmm... Post Edited (11-21-03 19:04)by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Yes of course I was not thinking something like Albert Park. I know that there is the stadium in the middle. Your map has the names of the buildings. Maybe it's a good thing. But there is not half of the track (the right and upper part). Most of the buildings are too much inside the track perimeter, so we still don't know what there is in the track borders. Your map ends near tby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Maybe it's possible to work a little with imagination. I found a map of the track with the shape of the buildings all around the track too. I found also many pics of the buildings in Dallas, so I think I can join the two things where it's possible to do it. From that pics I made part of the original skyline (of course I don't know where is north or south...). Also being named &qby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Hi Dallas is in progress. Maybe I will give it the apperarence of a nowadays street track because there are no info for the '84 race. I visited e-tracks. It is a good site, lots of maps, but I haven't seen pics about Dallas. There are also fictional tracks, maybe we could import something into gp3... By the way, I read something like Dallas 1984 was a big big flop that left many peopby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Thanks Mr. Lee I'll try... byeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
@ quickslick I found many things and there is the tv race to base on... I still miss an aereal total view of Motegi. byeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Doh! I've lots of maps with the clockwise arrow and the only right picture was found too late. Thanksby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
hi @ Littlejoe: (I hope I understood, my english often doesn't help me) do you mean something like sharing suggestions to improve tracks? If it's so it is possible. There is a site with guides and a forum about Gp3TE. It is the beginning of ediiting. For the rest you only have to ask... @ Bigears I mean the MotoGp layout. The old layout if I remember well was more than 20Km. byeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3

Hi, I modelled the layout for Dallas but a trouble is killing me softly: did I wrong the direction? From maps the tracks is clockwise, but from a couple of pictures it seems anticlockwise. Any suggestion? byeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Sure, at the moment I'm organizing infos for two of my favourite tracks: Brno and Motegi.by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
I just uploaded Mont Tremblant, St. Jovite in two versions: with and without the new chicane. byeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
...and in the "Other Tracks" archive there is the Vairano Test Track, an italian track. byeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Hi In the "Fictional Tracks" archive there is the 2003 version of the track with a brand-new section. I hope you like it. Regards Robertoby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
OK, se me lo chiede il mio maestro Gabriele... :P It's strange but I've seen a proposal version of Dallas (not developed) and it seems to be the one comparable with big city, a little more than the original but only in the appearence. There is a site called latphoto.co.uk but photos are on request (?) I can only see a little preview with the logo of the site that cover all the pic.by R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Ok but it is anyway one of the many alternatives. I don't know if Dallas for Gp2 is realistic, but I didn't seen notable heights and strange turns in it like there are in Big City. So try also Parklane or Long Beach or Detroit etc etc...we can spend years to decide which is similar and which is not similar. I think the best substitute for Dallas is... Dallas. byeby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Hi, hmm, maybe the layouts are totally different. I converted the Gp2 version of Dallas and it reminds more Monaco than Big City. In any case soon I will upload the new version without the horrible chicane and with a tunnel. The track will be longer than the first version. For the substitute of Dallas at the moment why don't you try Vancouver? It is a street track too and if I remember wby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
Hi, there is still an excellent tutorial in english here: with detailed pics and good guides. PS: every name is okby R_Scandura - Grand Prix 3
