Ok, thanks a lot Belini. What you say means that i have to alter my grip in the txt for every track: i also use ovals, and i noticed that to have competitive races i had to set very high cc grip in the MD (about 12000)so with your patch i have to set my grip lower, so i have to use at least 2 different txt performance file. I have understood well?by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi Belini. I have a few questions for you about your GripPatch. I patched Gp3 1.13 and it works, of course. Having the flag on Power team dependant in GPxPatch, the grip for the human driver is now taken from the txt performance file, ok; but the CC Grip value in the MD affects now also the human driver as the CC power does. So my question is: i set the CC power and CC grip to 10000, so everythinby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi. I think that the best way is to test: make your adjustment and than feel the car. The balance between front and rear wings determinates understeer or oversteer, it depens from how you like your car (personally i preferr a oversteering car, but not for every circuit). A bad way could be choosing a very low downforce setup in a street circuit or a too high downforce setup in a very fast one: aby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi to all. Ok, it's true: CC have only the dry setup, and even if you drive under the rain with dry setup human player has a big advantage in laptime. But my question is: how many human player has finished a wet race? I mean CC are much lower than me, but they are very precise, and don't do many mistakes; in wet conditions a bit mistake can be a disaster for human players, while CC carby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
@abdelkader: just for a while i thougth you were italian. Very nice you are learning a new language, whatever it is: i think it's always good when someone try something new, it opens the mind. A greet for your studying in italian: in bocca al lupo! About the carset, thanks to everybody who answered my request. Claudio.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Sorry, i haven't been very clear. Of course i already have Drafi5 2007 carset. So, this is the only 2007 F1 carset, i suppose. Thanks. Scusa, perchè "Auguri sinceri"?by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi to all. Where can i find a 2007 F1 season package? I tried in the old and new download section but i didn't find it. Thanks in advance. Claudio.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi. Well, i don't know if there is a limit of RPM, but it could be: just remember that in Gp3 you can modify many things, but not everything. In the MD file you can try to manage with the Air Resistance value (the more you increase it the more is the efficiency of the car) and the ride height (decreasing it) but i usually noticed increased speed not RPM 'cause i use the default settiby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Wow! I think it can be a graphic card related issue, but i'm not able to help you, as i've never had this kind of problem. You can try to find something in the forum with the search button. Sorry and Good luck.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi you all. Reading the topics and the posts on the forum, i noticed that there still are many people who play Gp3 with the keyboard or joypad or joystick. I don't want to make criticism at all, but i want to say them: use a force feedback steering wheel, otherwise you don't know what you are loosing. I mean the experience of driving, the feeling of the car and of the track, the sleeby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi. First of all: did you copy ALL the jams file (and eventually the jip ones)in the correct folders? Usually, when you see blu (or green or red) panel instead of the scenery of the track, there has been a mistake in copying the jam files (not all copied or copied in a wrong folder or direcoty). Hope this can be useful to you. Let me know. Claudio.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi. Yes, you can increase the RPM: you have to use tha Advance Physic Editor that can be found on this site in the section utilities. A tip: of course after changing the RPM you'll have to change the setup also (i mean the gear: you'll must make gear longer not to reach the MAX REV too sonn) for you and the CC (by using the utility CC Setup Editor or opening the MD file associate to theby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi and thanks, Mortal. As i said in my previous message, i didn't remember the fil esize, but i supposed it was too big, this is why i apologized in advance for the silly request Anyway, i try to find it on Amazon. Thanks.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi all. I was thinking about reinstalling the Gp3 2000 addon, but i have lost the CD. Can someone help me? I mean where i can buy a new one, or someone can send me a copy of the CD or via email (sorry, i don't remember the dimension of the files, so be patient with me if my request is unrealistic ). Thanks in advance.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi. It could be something related to the dual-core processor (i think you have a dual-core by looking at the log file). Gpxpatch let you choose which CPU you want to use: try it and let me know. Bye.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Happy to helped you. Good racing!by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Sorry, i haven't notice this: you use an ENCRYPTED gp3v1.13.exe? In order to use the paches (also GpXPatch) you must have the decripted gp3v1.13.exe that you can find in this site. Then, you have to use a compatibility mode 'cause you have winXP. Try again, and let me know. Claudio.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi! I think you have to run Gp3 in win98 compatibility mode. To do this: right click on th3 GP3.exe and choose "property", then in the foldeer "compatibility" choose win98. It should work now. Otherwise, try other compatibility mode, but usually this win XP problem is solved in this way. Let me know. Claudio.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Thanks as always, Roberto. I created my own MD file, and it works well. Bye.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi. You can find the GP3nocd patch in the old download section of this site, under "pathces": it is called Decrypted GP3 V 1.13 No CD Patch. (downloads/grand prix 3/patches). It is a decrypted and no CD GP3.exe, so i think you just have to install it to have what you are looking for. Otherwise, let me know. Claudio.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3

Hi Regis. There's a new topic called "more than 99 laps" very interesting about it. Anyway, tha answer is: YES. You can change the number of laps in two way: 1.using Pit&Lap Editor, available in the download section oh this wonderful site: it is quite simple and allows you to set also the pitstop strategy (very important, as AI drivers makes a lot of mistakes whit large fuelby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
In effect, in some track where the ccshuffler has a value more than 5000, AI cars make their best lap when loosing fuel. But the "ccshuffler" affects also me, or only AI cars?by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Ok Roberto, i will try: in these days i'm a tester rather than a driver... "CC shuffler" what controls in particular? And of course, i'll wait for you in my box. Therefore, i downloaded your Motopark Oschersleben: fantastic job, really. Now i have another track for my endurance races. Bye.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
OK. I got it. Thanks to your precious tips, i tested and tested, and i saw the light! The problem is just related to fuel load: too much fuel load and too much errors, as you said. I simulated a 99 lap race in Elkhart Lake, with 3 pitstop of course, and 16-18 runners ended the race. And: i simulated a 95 lap race in SPA (yes, SPA), with 3 pitstop, a 3h 02m race; no problem of any type! So: ifby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi to all. I need a Sebring MD file. The one i have is blank; and if i get the MD from the track, i get a blank file. So, if anyone have it, please send it to me at: savinaclaudio@libero.it Many thanks.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
@Roberto @mr Lee Mmmm...in effect the most of the accidents seem to be due to braking errors, and your idea about this is due to the big fuel load is very very interesting and pertinent. I report what i saw in a few circuit. Bugatti Le Mans: after a long straight many errors in braking, and AI cars go out of the track. Daytona Gp: i think there is a problem with CC line in a corner: AI cars hby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi Roberto. Transition day/night...it could be, in effect it seems that different tracks have differente laps limit to prevent black sky... But there is another important thing about very long race: it seems like Gp3 can't manage well so long races also referring to AI drivers; for example, a normal 50 lap race in Elkhart Lake usually ends with 16-18 AI runners: i tried a 99 lap race, and oby savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi guys. Well, i have experienced the black sky too, but it seems to be a metter of duration of the race rather than a matter of laps (i.g. in some circuit, as Daytona Gp, the limit to prevent black sky is 110 laps). For the lap chart, yes it's better not to use it.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
Hi guys. Well, i downloaded the fiel from the old section of the site, a bit slow but it works. Anyway i enailed the file to pacerboy and Rod vs, i hope they have received it. Otherwise, let me know. Buy.by savinaclaudio - Grand Prix 3
