Hi, yes do you need extract GP3 folder in C:\ dirve, that cause of static links and statick paths in the macros added on in the game, such as results.xls file or myteam (to do managerial game). it will work the export if you put in GP3 subfolder, under C . However, it requires just 4Gb about, I would be surprised if you don t have 4Gb space free, having windows 10 -11 ; Anyway, the instrby pippozzo - Grand Prix 3

So, apart the mod universe, u can try either of these : download the megapatch by elio , there is 1997 among the available I think. or download the GP3++, from the link in the post HAPPY NEW YEAR , in this forum, which contains all patches since 67, and then export to the game the 97 one, follow instructions to export in the tutorial,by pippozzo - Grand Prix 3

regarding that error. try to go in the window of wine and tab "Applications", try to change the windows version - if it is 7 or vista - put in windows 10 , for i.e. and retry to start the game.by pippozzo - Grand Prix 3

sorry just precising u have to extract my zip in the folder of your GP3 , not in system32. That is not the original microsoft ddraw, but the wrapper that uses the directX11 /10 to wrap the calls in ddraw (7) . not sure if you mean that folder, instead. But anyway after you copied my zip files into gp3 folder, be sure you have edited the .dxw file changing "C:\GP3" with your GP3 foby pippozzo - Grand Prix 3

Hi, let's try this. download from this the zip file , then copy the dlls and the file .dxw in the folder of GP3 . Then open the file .dxw with a text editor program (like vim-ish program or notepad of wine), change the path C:\GP3 with your gp3 folder as in wine configured. Then run GP3 in HW mode again and check if performances went better.by pippozzo - Grand Prix 3

Hi, sorry, what I may suggest, if you use Wine , just add as native built in dll , the ddrawex, that may help in hardware mode , but just to precise, Mind, if you want to use Hardware graphic mode, in by wine or Passthrough in qemu and kvm Linux needs to have the video driver of your GPU. is better if use the owner drivers, than the opensources ones (like nvida is the best). I may suggest to download the GP3++ supermod. It has in the export process of a championship to choose presetted graphics mode in dgvoodoo or in dxwnd. it can use also good trade off between graphical filters and cpu usage.by pippozzo - Grand Prix 3

Allora, non ho ben chiare quale e` il tuo problema , pero`, ti posso dire che con VM va bene in modalita` software. Per la modalita` HW devi avere il passthrough alla skeda video fisica, il che` vuol dire lo puoi fare con KVM e QEMU. ci sono diverse guide e tutorial per quello, dacci un occhio (anche perche` e` legato allo specifico driver e specifica scheda video). Hi , I am believing in GP3Master you actually are modifying the speed and gear to show in the circuit map, it won't affect the AI in the game. I Think the magic data are general parameter of the track, it is not related to specifics sections. You may find more info about magic data here : it's a part of tutorial of the track editor (actually the only editor I may suggest youby pippozzo - Grand Prix 3

ok, firstly if you want use ddrawcompat , try the 0.3.1 , then if you use the dgvoodoo 2.52 should work fine, but do not forget to set the compatibility mode on the .exe you are running. and run it as administrator. The crash my also due some wrong installation (try to reinstall the game). Then if you use GpxPatch, as I can see you said "autosave" , the TV graphics are selectable inby pippozzo - Grand Prix 3

try this pre-configured files of dgvoodoo that should work. extract all this files in the subfolder of the game. and mind to set gp3.exe or gp3v.exe - whatever you use - be configurated in compatibility mode. (run as Windows XP sp2 or Windows 7). that's from this other post...by pippozzo - Grand Prix 3
