NOTE: It is recommended that you use CART Factor in conjunction with a fresh install of rFactor Lite. At minimum, if you have CART Factor: Prologue installed you must delete the "Prologue" folder from GameData\Vehicles\CARTFactor.

There are two different packages of CART Factor; one is just a compressed .rar archive, the other is an .exe installer. Both install the exact same files, however RLD appreciates that some users do not like executable installers while others prefer the convenience an installer provides.

If you selected the .exe installer, all you have to do to install CART Factor is run the .exe and follow the wizard, inputting your rFactor directory when prompted. If you have downloaded the .rar archive, it is recommended that CART Factor is extracted to a temporary directory, and then that the files are manually copied to the rFactor directory to ensure all files are installed to the correct location.

Probably not 1997. Too many different models to get it done in a reasonable time frame. Probably will do 1999 though. We'll see.

Will you provide a torrent?

Probably not. We're just doing 2 builds (rar and exe) on the various file sharing sites. A torrent would be worse because we'd only have 1 uploader, who is on a terrible phone line. I'm at work tonight, so couldn't seed.

As did some Ganassi engineers. Amazing what help you can get when you just ask.

Not likely. We tried to do quality control on the mod, and looking at other mods, the amount of terrible schemes there are released is just amazing. To keep the quality high, for the initial release there will be no templates. When other seasons are finished it is a possibility.

Everybit as good as expected.

The Penske seems a little more difficult to drive than ther others. Good fun! Does take time for tyres to come and get a really good feel for grip but once upto speed the cars are lovley :D

Since the rFactor community is quite wide spread in what it likes to run, if you have any ovals you'd like to have wingsets for in CART Factor, post the track name here and we'll add in whatever people want to run.

The name we need is the trackname as defined in the top of each tracks gdb file.
