install the joystick software or download the latest drivers for it, make sure all axis are available in the controllers panel before you start BF2, windows has to see the axis before any game starts. If windows cannot see it, no game can either. @Wirah, I'd be looking at drivers and reading the minimum specs, do a google on Total Battlefield 2 support and check the support forums for spec info, you must have mimimum 4x agp enabled on your graphics card, a pci card is useless for this game, unless it is the latest pci express.
