new star wars game

has any one else played the return of the sith.

I completed the game in like 5 hours very easy and not much to it. I really think it more of an advert for the film.

Star wars games are normaly good this one was a let down. Very much like lord of the rings games as well

on the whole over the years star wars games have been bloody awful with a few outstanding exceptions, looks like this falls into the first catagory
Dunno why you'd want to play the game before watching the film anyway it spoils everything.

it gave away a few things but to be honest its just an advert and just covers bits we have seen in clips and does not really follow the middle of the story just start and end.

Loved Dark Forces so much, but nothing since.

Sounds disappointing, although I would never get it due to the spoilers.

I wouldn't say all Star Wars games are bad... Star Wars Galaxies, Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, and the Jedi Knight Series are all great games. The best one of all is actually a mod for Battlefield 1942... Galactic Conquest! Fantastic fun!

the only decent starwars game out there is Lego Starwars imo
and that says alot

knights of the old republic 1 & 2 are fantastic I agree, one of my fave series of games ever. The second could have been so much better if lucasarts didnt rush the developers so much though.

Didn't the developers for kotor2 want to release a content patch (to fix up the story line), but had trouble getting lucasarts to agree?

My favourite was Rogue Squadron on the N64...ahh, those were the days.

I hated rogue squadron, like, it was good and clever and stuff, but I never connected with it. Plus I let my friend borrow it and he got like gold on every mission when i never could! grrrr

Was there a Dark Forces 2? Cos I'd buy that right now if there was!

Yeah, Jedi Outcast to be more precise. I bought it, and it is great! Especially on PC

woah. Might have to look into those!

there is also jedi knight: jedi academy, its alright for playing online but the story sucks..

jedi outcast was stunning the follow up was not that good though loads of bugs.

Jedi outcast was a huge game the graphics were good as was the story and it was quite hard
