anyone noticed the great tyre deformation when you puncture a tyre?

i was sitting there for about 5 mins :|

do it in like 5th gear, it doesnt it by tyre wear, not temp

I did a low 1min 39 and just about in to the 38s I can lap 39s quite consistent Only thing is my tires are just overheating far to quick in a 5 lap race i will be strugling round by lap 4 :s Im pretty sure its the way im driving as sometimes if im following someone and following their lines i can last longer with good grip :s

Were you using my setup Keiran? I could easily get the tyres to last 10laps.

Lower the front pressures a bit. They will be a little less grippy earlier on, but will come on later in the race and you will be quicker overall.

yea Im using your set up justin so Im pretty sure its the way i drive lol. I think im just locking up the brakes to much and sliding.

dont lock ure brakes :P all the setups i have seen for S2 have the brakes set so u pretty much cant lock ure brakes!

its always possible you just have to try harder They are hard to lock usually its when I've gone to hot into a corner and am using a lot of steering lock while braking to try slow the thing down :P

Most mistakes i've came across online seem to be people braking too late... brake early so you get a better line and better exit speed.

yea at the moment im just trying to find the latest braking points, what gear i should be in for each corner etc. I've had some great online battles but a few of them have been runied by people sitting waiting to ram people > What servers do you lot usually play in ??

Usually the ones with the best pings... none in particluar.

I always seem to end up in dE servers, as for wreckers, get them kicked only way they'll learn :P

Im now doing mid 37s :D I tweaked away at the set up and my driving style and now I can do mid 37s and lap consistent low 38s also the tires are still green at the end of a 5 lap race Hope to meet some of you guys online

ure using the GTI arent you keiran?

try the other cars, the GT and the GTT are so much better than that FWD POS. well to tell the truth i havent driven it as i dont drive FWD cars... i had to drive a real FWD car for to long :P

:P i prefer the GTI to the rest of the car Im using a pad and find all the other cars to hard to control :P.

ive been taking every corner at 3rd gear except for the first corner which i take in 2nd. plus a tip to be smooth, set ure steering lock at like 12 degrees. You end up alot smoother and quicker.
