Some may not lke this choice of subject :p

A google search on this brings up several sites that claim entering your name as 'monopoly jnr' or some such causes your cars never to retire etc.
In my experience these cheats don't work at all...so why do so many sites have them? Is there some special technique to getting them to work?

Grand Prix World is a alrgely unfinished piece of software and any cheat codes are probably fakes, reying on the minds of people who have not yet been royally screwed over by the game's bugs.

+1, but try the game properly at least. I did alright with McLaren, winning several titles with Coulthard! :)

I always found the Benetton to be very fast, but the engines always blew up. I'd lead most races until both cars retired. I also frequently found my sponsorship deals stalling, leaving me without tyres/engines/some other critical component for the next season, meaning I didn't ever get very far :(
