hehe they have elections there soon, its a deliberate manipulation by one of the sides, nothing new they do something like this every time there are elections there. There is no epidemic there.
Besides if we all see the statistics for how many people die each year in each country from "normal" flue, then it would seem like every country has epidemic of some sort every winter and every year :)

I think the point here is not the fact its a dodgy flue virus thing, but the fact that Putin and Russia are employing some sort of interferring tactics with tainting vaccines etc.

This is either a) a scare tactic contained purely within the Ukriane to rig votes and delay the election or b)some sort of experiment that has genuinely got out of hand/was planned to cause trouble.

Exactly mate.

In my country the Swine flu when they tried to make believe everyone
that we had an "outbreak", the truth was their was very few cases in
each province (similar to "States";) but extremely exagerated by media
and that caused much panic among the population making it look far
more worst than it actually was.

The WHO doesn't seem to be too concerned:

It does seem to have been reported on in a few places, but i think the general lack of concern from the WHO (which seems to be borne out of the low death rate) should explain why there is a general lack of hysteria.

I would remove warning stickers from things - cleaner, more secure and way faster than any virus. "hey, it doesn't say I can't use this hair dryer under the shower, so ..."

Actually you can use the hair dryer under the shower
or in the bathtub and you will not get electrocuted.
Hower if you do step out of either cases with the hair
dryer on then you will have some religious experience ;)

that's not 100% true. it's possible to survive stepping out of the bathtub and it's possible to get killed in an instant in the bathtub. it depends on where the hair dryer has fallen in, whether the bathtub is grounded or not, material of the bathtub, reaction time and maximum allowed leakage current of the residual-current device if there is one, etc...
