This Maths test can predict your all time favorite film. Try it without looking at the answers, it works!
Pick a number from 1-9, multiply it by 3, then add 3, then multiply by 3 again. you'll get your answer by adding the 2 digits in the number together to find your all time favorite film, it is;
1. Gone with the wind.
2. Star wars.
3. Forrest gump.
4. Saving Private Ryan.
5. Grease.
6. Titanic.
7. Gladiator.
8. Pulp Fiction.
9. Gay leather clad rent boys having bum fun.

Oh FFS. It even works for 2.31!

2.31 * 3 = 6.93
6.93 + 3 = 9.93
9.93 * 3 = 29.79
2 + 9 + 7 + 9 = 27
2 + 7 = 9

Haha! Oldest trick in the book - first division rule you learn is:

1. Any multiple of 9's digits added up is equal to 9.

And you get a multiple of 9 because you multiply by 3 two times (3 x 3 = 9)

Examples:

a. 27 = 2 + 7 = 9
b. 81 = 8 + 1 = 9
c. 9999 = 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 36 = 3 + 6 = 9

Just thought I'd help those few of us who didn't learn that, or realise that.

Weird how some of you could get anything other than 9... :/

Does it work for Pi though? ;)

Pi = 3,14159265

3,14159265 * 3 = 9,42477795
9,42477795 + 3 = 12,42477795
12,42477795 * 3 = 37,27433385
3+7+2+7+4+3+3+3+8+5 = 45
4 + 5 = 9
